But, perhaps you've heard of the well-off sponsor of this 'quirky' project, whose bottomless bags of gil are enough to send anyone salivating. ❧ Though none have looked too deeply into just how 'Old' his money is, Luther's self, his lineage, and his coffers have the fustid reek of unsavory investment. Or perhaps that's just from tomb-robbing... after all, he's often spotted cavorting around olden burial grounds. ❧ Any craftsman with capable hands looking for work can find through their guild notices that Issom-Har is in dire need of assistance. ⚔Devoid of purpose, life loses meaning. Luther Edwards is a man who has seemingly taken this to heart, investing his time, effort, and money into whatever people and projects take his momentary fancy. His affluence may be mysterious, but those he holds a hand out towards rarely decline the assistance. The returns on these investments are far from diminishing, and his latest project (the restoration of the re-found Gelmorran residential ruins) seems to have taken off splendidly.

But who is this patron of lost souls, lost cities? No-one has an answer thus far. Upon immediate observation, he is equal parts exuberant and withdrawn, happy for a passing thrill whilst bored to tears at a moment's notice; a walking, speaking controversy. Keen consideration is required to peel the rind, to find if the meat of the fruit be sour or sweet.

⸸ Luther is, in shortest terms, a vampire. Though he is granted effective immortality until he achieves his goals, he must sustain himself with the Aether of other creatures, similar to a Voidsent. Unlike a Voidsent, Luther's madness and eccentricity come solely from being long-lived. ⸸ Originally a bastard descendant of the Kings of Gelmorra, Luther has certain royal affectations that he can't break free from. It's what lends him that perfect level of 'misanthropic asshole' that makes him oh-so-charming. ⸸ Luther is incapable of expiring until he achieves his Dying Wish. Vacillating endlessly between wishing he could perish and gratitude that he can't, Luther displays an unabashed irreverence for mortality. ⸸ Luther's first name was Liudevit. If you know this, you're either his best friend til your death do you part, or you're already dead. ⸸ What does he want more than anything in the whole wide world? The downfall of all Elementals, at least to start. But Luther has no plans to stop there, and would appreciate if any and all forms of authority would just Cease and Desist, thanks. That includes Governments, Gods, and Primals. No one is safe. :)
