Name: Fiona Kavanagh

Nameday: 4th Sun of the 3rd Astral Moon

Age: 28

Sexuality: Heterosexual

Guardian: Oschon, the Wanderer

Class/Job: Archer/Bard

Personality: She can be quite unrealistic in her ideals, but she is very confident in her abilities. Although she may seem naive at times, she is well aware of how the world works and its dangers. Her problem is that she oftentimes throws herself into that danger instead of letting other people take care of it. She firmly believes in peaceful solutions to any problem, which leads to her getting into terrible situations where it would seem that she has no choice but to resort to violence. She can become extremely conflicted and at a loss when things don't go the way she planned (and she is hardly very good at planning anyway). She can be somewhat quiet and distant to others, but in reality, she loves to interact with people. She is only afraid of them getting involved in the same dangerous things she is. She cares too much for others and not enough for herself.

History (going to leave some things out because spoilers): Fiona was born in Eastern Thanalan, but was mostly raised in a village in La Noscea, where she and Faolan (Y'weta) practically grew up together. Fiona lived with her parents and her twin brother, Donal. As she and Faolan grew older, they became closer and closer, while Donal got more distant to the entire village. Faolan suspected him of getting caught up in some sketchy activities. Eventually, Fiona took up the bow and tried as hard as she could to become stronger, as she wanted to rid Eorzea of the things that caused the people suffering, such as the Primals and the Empire. Faolan had told her that her plan was unrealistic and that she could never accomplish saving Eorzea and creating a world where people could live in peace. But Fiona's heart was already set on that goal. In the events leading up to the Calamity, Fiona fought a long and difficult battle, but she wasn't alone. Faolan stayed with her, in order to ensure that she wouldn't get herself caught up in a bad situation. However, once the Calamity had started, Fiona left Faolan behind to keep him away from the danger, despite his protests. After the Calamity, Fiona spend five years alone, gathering any information she could on the Primals and the Empire, however limited that information may be. She then ran to Coerthas to get away from anyone she could have known in the past. After those five long years, Fiona decided to set out again with newfound ambition to do what she had originally intended to do, but failed. As her skills with the bow have become somewhat rusty, Fiona decided to return to Gridania first, in order to re-learn how to use it. She was determined not to fail again.

"No one has the right to take the life of another."

Extra: She sings a lot. She and Faolan used to be lovers.
