We take the story seriously for that possibility of building a community off of the tribe, so there is a forum dedicated just to the Umago children on our FC page just for short stories about the tribe and growing up as a Jackal. Basic Info

Talya is only eleven cycles of age, but despite this, the young Jackal will constantly travel by herself. She is ever curious about the world, ignoring her Sister, J'telihgo's advice most of the time. If you were to meet her on the street, she would strike up conversation first, often pointing out the obvious, complimenting, or just asking you a question.

Good Luck, city of Ul'dah.. for yet another child of the sun has made you her stomping grounds and when this kit starts going, there is little more than a stern gaze from her Father, to stop her.

History

Talya's Life has been a short one thusfar, only seeing so many summers, she has no truly remarkable stories.

What tale of the little jackal there is, begins on a dusty set of station tracks at Black Brush. She sees her Sister for the first time in months, explaining to Teli, that her Brothers and Sisters, her mother, have gone away. That the rest of the tribe is saddened by it all, and that she knows they're dead.. but she doesn't know why. None of them ever challenged their Father after her Brother, J'talren did, why would her Mother and Sisters die.. they're girls, they don't need to challenge anyone. At eleven, she should know far more than she does, but it seems evident that J'talya was sheltered from the harsh realities of life.

After this encounter, Talya and her Sister spend several days looking for their Father, only to run into their Brother J'hoteo. Together the kits manage to track the older Nunh, finding him a residential ward of the Goblet.

From then on, Talya's place .. is at the Stringer's Estate. Her work, is to keep the house tidy and to try and behave, which she fails miserably with on both accounts.

Her only friends outside of the family, seem to be those strangers she meets in Ul'dah, one in particular, Etheral Orchid. Would she count her pet rat and he old man around the corner, if she could.. but "Scrumples" seems to be the type of companion, no one would want around. Together, Talya and Scrumples sneak off on adventures, the shabby Jackal kit and her dirty rat.

Personality

Childish, annoying, girly, a poor attention span, insecure, often sniffles or pouts. Adventurous and headstrong. Her only exceptional, or good behavior can be seen around the presence of her Father, Ms. Stringers, and a few of the regular guests around the Estate.
