A young, talented Xaela Thaumaturge from Sharlayan with a keen interest in Botany, especially Fungi, as well as a talent for alchemy.

Basic Info

Cecilia was born on the Steppes of Othard to an unknown woman in a now destroyed tribe. She was discovered and adopted by Wellington and Anais Crestwood, the renowned Hyur husband and wife explorers, archaeologists, scholars, and authors from the Sharlayan Motherland. The youngest of the four Crestwood children, Cecilia showed a strong talent for magic of at a young age, particularly thaumaturgy. In fact, her aetheric reservoir is said to be greater than those of her siblings. Possessed of an insatiable curiosity and love of botany (with emphasis on fungi), Cecilia excelled in her studies. Like her elder sister before her, she entered and graduated from higher education early. However, a natural wanderlust as well a tension between her and her elder sister, Luna, compelled her to travel to Eorzea as an adventurer.

Appearance & Personality

Cecilia is about average height for an Au Ra and thin. She has a small bust, pale skin, and dark blue hair cut short with bangs covering her left eye. Like all Xaela, her body has sections of lustrous dark scales and a long scaly tail that branches into five points of bone at the end. Her eyes are violet with violet limbal rings in each eye. She often stays awake late into the night studying tomes of magical lore or experimenting with alchemy. As a result, her eyes often have bags under them and she is a bit thin as she occasionally forgets to eat.

Personality wise, she has a tendency to be rather blunt when speaking to others, but doesn't speak very often as she prefers to listen. Regardless, she is fairly amiable and is able to get along well with different types of people. She has a somewhat dry sense of humor that occasionally shifts toward the dark and cynical. Despite this, she's actually rather content with her life.
