Personality

As her name implies, Kiyo is as clean and pure on the inside as she is on the outside. She is a very spiritual person who has high standards when it comes to morality. Her views on life are more conservative and traditional, but her compassionate nature prevents her from ever looking down on anyone because of their beliefs or life choices. She prefers to surround herself with positive influences who would lift her up rather than try to bring her down.

Her mind is as bright as the glow from her eyes. At this phase in her life she is focused on learning and gaining all the knowledge and skills she can, which doesn't leave much time for socializing or romance. Your first impression of her might be that she is shy or self-absorbed (you'd be very lucky if you get little more than a smile or nod). However, that is not the case. She is just very focused on her goals and accomplishing her mission.

History

When Kiyo was a young child her parents fled the wrath of the Garlean Empire and sought refuge in the city-state of Limsa Lominsa. Once wealthy nobles in their home city of Doma, her parents had now become reduced to mere commoners. As the Garlean army approached their city, there was no time to gather riches or possessions. They were forced to leave their family fortune behind them taking only what they needed to make the long journey. Gridania was too humble and meager for their lifestyle, and they could no longer afford to live in the wealthy city of Ul'dah, so Limsa Lominsa seemed like the most logical place to try and make a new start.

Even though she grew up mostly surrounded by filthy pirates and dirty scoundrels, as a descendant of the Dawn Father, her parents always encouraged her to live up to her Divine heritage. They had a modest lifestyle yet somehow they managed to instill a sense of nobility in their daughter. An ambitious young lass, Kiyo promised herself at an early age that one day she would grow up to become an Adventurer and find a way to provide a better life for her family.

Career Goals

Kiyo is very ambitious to say the least! While her ultimate aspiration is to become a White Mage, she loves learning and hopes to one-day master all of the trades. She is currently studying Arcanism and is working towards becoming a Summoner.
