General

Athral is a boisterous Hyur, with a knack for socialising and a charming smile. He has a high Aether capacity and, despite his lack of a bookish appearance, takes his studies of black magic very seriously. He loves the thrill of adventure, but would only go with a party. Not because he's scared alone, but simply because he likes to generate a fan base.

Appearance

Athral has red hair and deeply blue eyes. He is average height with a toned body, usually hidden away under cloth robes. When he isn't talking, he seems rather pensive, but that doesn't last for long.

Morals: Athral does the right thing, or at least what he believes that is. Sometimes his perception can be very black and white.

Both intelligent and creative, Athral tends to come out on top in a sticky situation. He has a worldly charm and an affinity for people that help enemies become hard to come by. He isn't easily angered, but his temper is as fiery as his hair when the line is crossed; being a practitioner of black magic, this can bring more than figurative fire. He loves to approach people and gain the measure of them, listening to their stories and discovering what makes them tick. He is handy to have in a crisis.

Combat

General

In combat Athral likes to be on the front lines. He gets a thrill from drawing fire onto himself and weaving out of the way of danger as he smites the enemy with black magic. He doesn't always come out unscathed, but is a great believer in that which doesn't kill you will only make you stronger. He isn't reckless to an extreme fault however, and knows how to pick his battles.
