Garrett Vinland born on the 2nd Sun of the 6th Astral Moon is a Hyur who was once an orphan who grew up upon the streets of Ul'dah trying to scrape by and make a living for himself. Years later curiosity of the world from outside those walls came to mind in which he enlisted in a small-band of well trained mercenaries who had hired him as a simple bag carrier later to become a promising new recruit among them. Another couple of years later, the group had changed from Garretts ideals as if the jobs they were doing wrong, believing that they should be helping those who are being ignored which then resulted in a fight between him and the mercenaries which created a debt and a fued still going to this very day as he wanders around Eozera yet again trying to make a living.
