Gender: Female
Age: 19
Skin: Lightly tanned
Hair: A tangle of auburn curls, often braided
Eyes: A golden left eye, sharply contrasted by its green counterpart
Height: 5'2
Body Type & Weight: Strong, yet lithe; 130 ponze
Place of Residence: South Shroud
Place of Birth: Eastern Thanalan
Occupation: Alchemical merchant, student of Conjury
Voice: Lower and more robust than what might be expected. Her speech is melodic but vibrates with energy.
Appearance: Short and fit; constantly moving in one way or another: twitching ears, flicking tail. Fidgety.
Fashion of Choice: Despite her recent change in location, she continues to sport the more dramatic styles of Ul'dah. But instead of necklaces, her newest accessories are roughly sewn patches and frayed ends, thanks to her habit of being found outside more often than in.
Weapons of Choice: Though not much of a fighter, Zahli can be found carrying a walking cane to, at the very least, bop an offending forest fiend on the nose and deter it from making her lunch. She's more likely to slink behind a rock face or scatter into a tree than face an enemy, and hasn't let her pride get in the way of running away if needed.
Special Abilities: With years spent staving off infections, burning away flesh corrupted by poisoned arrows, and cooling fevers, C'zahli is a well-practiced healer and medic. Her slowly growing skills in conjury will make her more of an asset in the field, but most of her experience is behind-the-scenes.
History
C'zahli Orho came into adulthood as a member of the Alchemist's Ton within one of Thanalan's three Coeurl tribes. She used her skills to heal warriors wounded by their encounters with the local beastmen, and to soothe the pains of the old and sick. A desire to do more led her to offer these services to those beyond the village boarders and eventually the nearby city of Ul'dah. A sweet disposition made trading easy for her, allowing her to stretch her gil and often sell her own wares at a lower price, to those with a greater need for it.
In the waves of refugees C'zahli found the limits to her alchemical skills. These illnesses couldn't be treated by her own potions, and even her glib tongue couldn't bring down the price of the more potent concoctions. Refusing to remain helpless, she journeyed further than most of her kin, seeking the foreign knowledge held by the Conjurers of Gridania. It was among the lush trees and tumbling vines that C'zahli found herself more inspired than ever before, journeying into the wilds to find the wisdom of Nophica. After many a night in Carline Canopy, she's recently settled within a corner of the Shroud. Symbols of Azeyma on her hands, face, and chest act as a source of comfort when she misses the warmth of Thanalan, and so her fiery nature continues to thrive within the forest. Though finding herself at odds with the more orderly of the Elezen, she remains respectful of their long held presence and symbiosis with nature. It's been more than a year since she returned to the desert.
