Character
♦ General
The son of a well-to-do Limsan merchant and her miqo'te wife, E'salih has lived a life of relative ease thus far. Though the Calamity brought great sorrow to him - as it had many others - Salih's demeanor is as friendly as ever, though tempered now by tragedy. He is slowly coming into himself as he blossoms from the ruin of seven years' past, and recent events have rekindled a spark of curiosity within him - a thirst for knowledge and exploration that's never quite been sated.
♦ Appearance
Salih stands at a surprising 5'8". While tall for his Seeker kin, he is still dwarfed by the Sea Wolves and Highlanders that populate his home. His skin is dark, owing both to genes and the healthy tan the sunny port city affords to all dockworkers. His work includes other benefits, as well; namely, a strength uncommon to non-adventurers. Though not as defined as those brave souls, the short-sleeved and V-necked garments he takes to wearing do little to disguise the musculature of his upper body. His eyes, at a glance, seem a pale green, though on closer inspection one ringed by a golden halo marks the heterochromia of his kind. Typical miqo'te markings adorn his eyes, and a smattering of dark freckles is present along his cheeks and nose. Black hair falls unevenly to below his shoulders, rarely pulled up into a messy ponytail or bun.
♦ Behaviour
Outgoing and extroverted, Salih is never one to turn down new friends or new experiences - as long as they're not particularly dangerous. His attitude is generally amiable, and he takes pleasure in many of the disciples Limsa Lominsa is known for; he can often be found on the lower decks of the city, fishing to his heart's content, and often ventures out of the city in search of particularly out-of-the-way fishing holes. Well-read and well-educated, Salih is smart, but lacks the wisdom that exploration and hardship afford, and before the Calamity knew little of the hardships beyond Vylbrand's watery borders - though this has begun to change after the tragedy.
