A rapscallion hailing from Vylbrand, parts unknown, Honus Himself is a self-declared swashbuckler extraordinaire and self-admitted less-than-extraordinary gentleman.

Religion: Having been - for as long as he can remember, at least - brought up under the watchful eye of Syngiwyda and her crew, Honus has grown into a devout follower of Llymlaen, the Navigator. A superstitious man, he's also come to hold a healthy amount of respect for Leviathan, Lord of the Whorl.

Strong points
Addiction: Much to the dismay of anyone with any regard for the law whatsoever, Mr. Himself is under suspicion of indulging in a highly-illegal substance: Somnus. These suspicions are entirely well-founded. To avoid suspicion, he's taken to mixing the drug with tobacco, resulting in a blend with a subdued effect, yet which may prove no safer. It produces a light aroma with a hint of sweetness.
Illiterate: In his boyhood, Mr. Himself would often shirk the lessons laid out by his adoptive mother in favor of roughhousing with the assorted street urchins of Limsa Lominsa. Much to her chagrin, Honus has since grown into a man both unable and unwilling to read. Despite this, he seems to hold the academic sort in rather high regard.
Grudge-bearer: A sickly child, rail-thin and very much the runt of the crowd even for his exceptional height (among Midlanders, at least), Honus was something of a punching bag in his formative years. Jeers just alike as stones were tossed his way, and he soon earned the nickname of "Howlin' Honus" for his desperate cries. As a result, he's grown into a somewhat twisted individual, his negligible feelings of self-worth matched only by his disdain for anyone and everyone he feels stands so much as an ilm above him. With a grim perseverance will he suffer any injury, cultivating his darker passions until the perfect opportunity might arise for him to drag another down to his level. And oh, what a drop shall that poor soul find, with only Honus and his wicked grin for company.
Cheshire grin: Honus's scar seems to have a mind its own. Though skilled at keeping his true intentions well under wraps, moments of duress or particular passion will always stretch and burn that scar of his, giving way to a grotesque, lop-sided smile; one which serves to hint at the wicked nature fermenting beneath his jovial antics.
