Appearance

Y'sefia is slightly above average height for a Miqo'te female, with a fit body that's not exactly pale, but not overly tan. She has some curves where it counts, which she won't hesitate to subtly show off both in posture and clothing style. Her off-white wavy hair falls to shoulder length, with straight bangs just barely covering up prominent white eyebrows. Her eyes are dark red at first glance, though upon closer inspection one has slightly more purple than the other.

Her clothing style is generally that of loose-fitting, low-cut tops, skirts, stockings, and boots. She wears a small amount of makeup, just enough to do the job without being overly obvious, and adorns herself with a lot of gaudy jewelry, especially anything gold.

Personality

Confident, cocky, even arrogant at times, Y'sefia thinks very highly of herself, and thinks only for herself. She knows how to get what she wants from people, whether it be through her charm, persuasion, sleight of hand, or flirting. When things go her way she's typically cheery with a positive attitude. She likes having fun, and enjoys poking fun at people. Playful insults are commonly given, though she generally means no harm by them. If there's nothing or no one to entertain her though, she can get bored fairly easily. While she's outgoing and doesn't mind conversation, she has difficulty expressing any actual feelings or emotions, as she doesn't put much trust in others. She makes sure to take care of herself before anyone else. Y'sefia can be extremely short-tempered when things don't go her way, and she tends to deal with issues she can't resolve by running away from them or ignoring them, rather than confronting them. In her eyes, it's not worth putting in more effort when there's probably an easier shortcut just around the corner to whatever she wants.

Shortcuts have played a fairly large part in her life as she's dabbled heavily in things like con artistry and fixed gambling. When there's a quick, easy, big score to be made, she just can't resist. Y'sefia is avaricious. She loves money because it lets her afford luxurious, extravagant, expensive things. In stark contrast to this, she rarely actually has any money, and what luxury she can afford is short-lived. She tends to be down on her luck fairly often, usually thanks to a combination of her greed, cockiness, and almost comical bad luck that, from an outsider's perspective, is simply what one would call karma. Whatever huge riches she gains she ends up losing shortly after most of the time. She'll gamble big, win big, then lose big because there was no way she could possibly lose that double up bet. She'll con a man out of everything he's worth, then run into him again at the tavern down the street as he's explaining to town guards what had just happened to him, accidentally dropping his gilpurse as she makes her escape. If only she hadn't stopped to buy herself that victory ale with his money.

While she tends not to show it outwardly, she loves attention, as it does wonders for her already large ego. She's been known to be quite the flirt, reveling in the attention she gets from it, especially if they're good looking. Her ideal night would consist of a large meal at the local inn paid for by someone else, enough wine to drown in, ending up in bed with an attractive Highlander, and being gone in the morning before he can even realize he's a lot shorter on gil than he was the night before.
