Personality:
Seems actually almost unable to be serious unless the situation is dire. This Lala is constantly cracking a joke or making a witty remark, poking fun and teasing mercilessly. This may or may not get her into trouble with those of less patience and higher authority. She means well, though. Illust is friendly and almost disturbingly bubbly, like never-has-a-bad-day-ever-always-happy-every-time-she-sees-you bubbly. Still, many seem to warm up quickly to her cute but feisty charm. She's can be easily over-excited by the simplest things and is very animated when talking. Despite all this friendliness she isn't generally one to approach strangers; in a bar full of people she'd sit and drink alone until someone would decide to engage her.

On the Battlefield:

Hidden under her helm, sweating, panting... laughing? The Illust wielding and axe seems a far sight from the Illust in a tavern. Her secret bloodlust is pretty much impossible for this Lala to hide when she's out there hacking and slashing away with her axe. There is no other thrill greater to her than maliciously murdering any foe standing in her way. She'll overkill a decided contract number of beasts, she'll travel every possible path in a dungeon to kill every remaining creature, once she starts it's awhile before she stops - usually from exhaustion. This is not to say she's not a friend on the Battlefield, Illust plays her role well. She takes every hit with pleasure, and delivers blows between occasional fits of giggles. Anyone who fights alongside this Lala will see an almost new personality, a free and frantic one, blissfully malevolent.

Illust was born and raised a bit outside of Limsa Lominsa to a small farming community. Raised with respect of mother nature and a love for flora and fauna. Gifted with plants, the Lala dabbles in simple potion making she dubs, "organic alchemy". Using homegrown herbs, fruits, & veggies from her garden she brews up simple remedies to cure cuts, bruises, and perhaps the occasional hangover. She is never seen without a few small jars of potion strapped to her side - or nestled in her bag -, from which she sips periodically. Some suspect there may be more to those jars than just crude healing mixtures. Don't think to call the Lala to your aid, however. She has never studied true Alchemy and couldn't make you anything past a salve with the healing equivalent of a band-aid. Her brews are crafted mostly for her own personal use. As a child Illust would often wander off into the forests for days at a time. When the young Lala would turn up, she would be scolded by many for abandoning her duties, and questioned about the occasional mysterious injuries adorning her. Never anything serious, but cuts and gashes that looked more than just dirtying yourself camping. Illust would always answer with a smile, "I just love getting lost in the woods~ I always come back, stop worrying would ya?" Though generally kind and good-humored, the lala's banter often borders on sarcastic and is rarely serious. This can lead some to distrust her, as she never can seem to be honest without cracking a joke. She is cute, and will use it to her advantage. she will attempt to use her young features and small stature to bribe and get others on her side. "Aw, come on! You don't wanna buy this cute young thing a drink? Not even if I squish my cheeks together like thish?" "Aren't big brave adventures like you all about protecting lil' meak girls? Well here's your chance, dummy! I owe that guy money take care of him for me? Okay later!" but beneath the bubbly, witty, somewhat bratty, and overall joyful exterior, a lust dwells and swirls maliciously inside the lala blood
deep, heavy, crimson blood The young Limnosian has a bloodlust that becomes much more difficult to contain as she gets older. mysterious trips to the forest in her youth were bathed in the blood of wildlife. an obsession with combat that could not be quelled by anthing other than a kill. it was unnatural, and she knew it. it was a differnt desire than to serve and protect, than to hunt. she wanted only to kill, and to kill as much as she possibly could. she would use potions made from ingredients in her gardens to dull these impulses, and for awhile they will work. but sooner or later blood has to be spilled. she will never hurt friends or citizens, only monsters and anyone she is ordered to deal with. When she was of age to venture out into the world on her own, the lala more than jumped at the chance. growing up watching the pirates and mauraduers skirmish with their axes, it was her immediate weapon and class of choice. but she craved more, much more, than simply protecting tiny farms from rogue dodos and money grubbing bandits. the lala only wants blood, and the bigger and more foes the better. her motives to help the citizens of Eorzea may not seem by most the most moral path, "But hey, I'm helping these people right?" She will not openly admit this desire for culling, however. At least not to the majority of the populace. She may disclose her motives to fellow adventurers. Not necessarily ashamed, but cautious. A soldier with no real loyalty to protect isn't very trusted, now is she? Illust will attempt to save face in front of the citizens she takes jobs from, she likes to keep conversations short so she can get to work. Though some farmers and merchants have mentioned the Lala will seem to lose herself in conversations of mercenary work. Almost as if she gets a little too over-excited. Rushed or slurred speech, a singlular report accused the girl of having a nervous twitch.
