Childhood Colthan was an orphan like many other children in the city of ul’dah”. At age 4 he doesn’t remember much of it to be fair, all he remembers is that his family was suddenly gone. A refugee couple saw him and took him in, took care of him as their own child. Once colthan grew older his father always told him stories about the eorzea. The heroes of old, ala mhigans. If there were stories to tell, he would know them. His father probably didn’t realize it but due to these stories Colthan started to want to see it all for himself. He wanted to see if all the places in his father’s stories were true.. Soon these idea’s started to get him in trouble. As a young lad of barely 15 name days old he’d run around ul’dah. Stealing food so that his father and mother would have something to eat. In his own mind he thought he could be just like The people in those stories. Helping people. Soon after he’d have his wish. His mother passed away due to lack of food and even water. Due this event his father realizing Colthan would only become more rebellious, now that the one person that could keep him on a leash has passed away, decided to move with him close to the adventurer’s guild, in the hope that if colthan saw all those adventurers either hurt or tired of it, that colthan would give up on the fool-ish ideas. His father always was a proud adventurer to begin with, but stopped cause the urge to protect his wife and son was bigger. However moving closer to the adventurers guild didn’t make it better. The more stories Colthan heard of heroic deeds the more he craved for it. After the Calamity when more refugees came to ul’dah, the rebellious side of Colthan emerged again, stealing once again food and water, so that he could help every poor refugee. Food that the rich people in ul’dah could easely miss. And would atleast safe some lifes among refugees. Eventually at age 19 he’d join a couple other adolescent people, planning to steal a whole cart of food. Of which they would be able to feed refugees for atleast a few weeks. Which turned out in such a spectacular failed attempt as the group of younglings in disguise were caught, clearminded soldiers of Ul’dah. In this event Colthan ended up arrested for crimes against Ul’dah.
Adolescence he gets the proposition of either spending his remainder days in prison or serve as a gladiator so that he may some day gain his freedom upon the sands of the arena. Colthan chose to go as a Gladiator, because in his heart he wanted to see the beauty of Eorzea, and that was not possible while he was in prison. Upon the sands Colthan quickly learned that in order to be freed, he’d have to survive. Being put against the strongest of gladiators he would take charge, adapt and then overcome his opponent. Because of the ferocity and fierceness he fought with, as well as his loyalty and compassion towards his fellow comrades on the sand. Quickly rumors spread about him having the blood of a wolf running through his veines. Thus him being called “Wolfsblood.” Colthan didn’t mind, in fact, he got quite attached to the name, ending up in making it his official name when he gained his freedom upon the sands 5 years later.
Present Day Took a job as doctore, mainly to help other Noxius earn their freedom by training them. Only if he thinks they deserve it.
