have you ever seen something so in-progress?

if you stumble on this before i set up a forum thread dedicated to it, currently looking for:

• sibling - suspects him to be the cause of their father’s death, half-wildwood, different mother (or maybe different father instead?), keeps their father’s name while mercury changed his own
• childhood friend - he knew mercury when they were children, but they lost touch for some reason and were reconnected outside ishgard. he heard of mercury’s father’s death, and perhaps knew of what kind of man the late elezen was. and more than anything, he can read mercury like a book. he probably knows, by deduction and instinct alone, that mercury was responsible. gods know if he intends to act on this guess, or how he feels about his old friend being a murderer.

Basic Info

• killed father for good reason, hid it with a fire (fire accidental/father’s fault?)
• long hair was singed in the flames, had to cut most of it off
• he wasn’t suspected in his father’s death, and it was written off as an unfortunate accident, with mercury another victim
• he waited an appropriate amount of time, and then left, claiming he had nothing left for him in ishgard and that his wanderer’s soul needs be sated
• none were surprised, and none did object – he really did have nothing left for him there, save a sibling that resented him
• changed his last name to cut ties, though he isnt technically in hiding and his previous home still knows him by his old name
• made extra spending money and enjoyed a good bit of pampering as a companion, though he had no romantic or sexual interest in any of his clients
• aromantic & asexual, sex-neutral | fond of physical affection, giving and receiving soft touches and intimate acts such as washing another’s hair, skinship is his love and he would have it with a veritable harem
• a swordsman trained in dance, he learned his swordplay as a dance, with fluid actions that look slower than they are, snakelike in their trace-inducing motion followed by quick strikes.
• burns from the fire on his back / one arm ?
• fond of the occasional drink or smoke (pipe?), never lets himself get properly intoxicated beyond a cheerful tipsy
