Appearance & Personality

Renias is a somewhat short Hyur with brown hair, blue eyes. He is 21 years of age weighing 150 pounds and is of average figure with slightly smooth skin. He has always liked being around other people. He is laid back and doesn't like too take many things seriously. He is a lightweight when it comes to alcohol but is always willing to go have some drinks at a bar with friends. Has a fear of being alone in the world with no one to have his back. Always willing to stand up for those who need help but will rarely ever ask for help himself.

Biography

Childhood

Renias was born into a family of tailors. His parents ran a small shop in Ul'dah too very little success. As such he never had much when he was growing up. His mother Vynnara home schooled him while also teaching him the basics of running a shop. On his 11th birthday he finally started helping his parents with the shop. He would run around the streets trying to bring adventurers to the shop as they usually had money.

Teenage

When Renias hit 14 years of age he had already started to grow bored of working with his parents. He started to wonder what life was like outside of Ul'dah after talking with adventurers for so long and wanted to travel. He knew that he would have to keep working so he could gain enough money to see the world so he worked hard for another year. At 15 he went out and bought a cheap sword from a smith just down the road. Every day after work he would practice swordplay in the house and on some nights he would even sneak out and practice in the fields outside of Ul'dah. On his 18th nameday his parents asked if he could handle running the shop for 2 weeks as they wanted to take a small vacation to see some old friends in Gridania. He agreed but only under the condition that when they come back he can finally stop working for them and finally head out to see the world. His parents were reluctant but they agreed. That night after they closed down they set out for Gridania leaving Renias behind in Ul'dah. a week later he would get a knock on the door from an adventurer. The adventurer told Renias that his parents had been attacked by a group of Amalj'aa and had passed away. Devastated Renias locked himself away in his house for the next year never once tending to the shop. At 19 all of his money had went to paying the rent. He sold the shop just to have a roof over his heads for one more month. When the month was over he left Ul'dah without a word, only with his sword at his side and a few coins in his pocket, heading wherever his feet took him.

Present

Finally returning to Ul'dah at 21, Renias was ready to start a new life as an adventurer. He had become stronger after being on the road for 2 years. He is said to be seen in the bars of Ul'dah from time to time chatting with the locals and fellow adventures. When he is not there chances are he is earning money killing monsters or exploring the world as he had always dreamed.
