INTRO TEXT

Appearance

Rahferu is an extremely effeminate, young-looking Raen with a compact build and a lissome carriage. He has a number of slightly offsetting traits, some arguably more desirable than others--including a sensationally voluptuous lower half. His hips are wide and suspiciously curvy; and undeniably fall under that 'thick thighs' category. His legs are long, slender and shapely, with oddly delicate ankles (it can be noted as well that his wrists are also quite small.) Rah's eyes are large and almond-shaped; his irises a corsucating violet color with birdlike pupils that rest under an array of dark feathery lashes and heavy lids, with no limbal rings to speak of. He does not wear eyeliner or makeup of any sort, but it certainly seems like he does as first glance. Those who have a roving, perhaps more perverse eye may note that his rounded, soft backside is likely something any high-paid burlesque dancer or voyeur would readily covet as their own. His hands are rather small and well-kept; featuring very long, elegant fingers that are tipped with curved golden talons which taper into dangerously sharp points. Considered rather beautiful by many, the halfblood's exotic features look as if they could just easily belong to a woman--that is, until he grins. His smile is lent by a pair of full, somewhat doll-like lips that seem to perpetually glisten with a faint pearly tinge are the only barrier between a set of massive, serrated teeth that are far too large and thick to suggest normality. His tongue is also pierced rarely-witnessed spherical stud of clear red crystal. The halfblood generally tries not to show teeth when smiling on account of this, as the dentalia serve as a sinister hint toward the other half of his heritage. The scale plating that runs down his back hosts a line of jagged, vertebrae-like protrusions that become larger and more pronounced around the middle of his spine. The majority of Rahferu's scales seem to retain the usual pale golden shine of other Raen, but there are a few patches that seem to have more of a slate grey color with darker linework about their ridges. His barbed, plated tail is also extraordinarily long. This, in addition to manner in which his scales are patterned and the direction the plating seems to face toward strongly nuance traits found amongst many voidsent creatures. (IC'ly) His hair cascades nearly to the floor in length, and is a stunning platinum blonde or a shimmering off-white, depending on how the light hits it. It looks to be shiny, soft and especially well-cared for. His complexion is pure; unmarred and unblemished, roughly equating to a rosy chocolate in color--or a blood red under the Ul'dahn sun, as professed by some. Rahferu is almost always seen walking around with a slightly sad, angelic facial expression. Most who have a keen aetherical sense might note that his presence bears obvious amounts of void energy, which seems to have had a significant impact on his physical and overall development.

History

Rahferu is a halfblood of a complex background, of which he knows only the most minor and ambiguous of detail. His father does not take pride in discussing their family background for a number of reasons--his would-be wife and mother of his son being at the top of that list. In the past, Rah's father was a fierce warrior who was rumored to have draconic heritage, due to his build, which was burlier and taller than many other fully-grown Raen men, though this has yet to be confirmed by the latter. Akasha had been deceived--by a a self-interested demoness, no less. She revealed her true nature and whisked off as soon as she was with child, taunting the father with thoughts of his own son growing up to be a monster who would surpass her in strength one day. The unnatural mother fled too goodness knows where with a newborn child in tow--far from where the child's father ever had hopes of finding his son. Iregaios had born a son--likely with the hope that she would create another monster, but--she too fell prey to the warm tendrils of affection that began to well up within her whenever she interacted with the baby. Indeed, Iregaios thought. This child was going to be absolutely perfect, in both beauty and strength. It was a shame that he hadn't taken all of her physical features--nevertheless, in her eyes, he was still quite the boy! The two took up residence in places far from where common men fear to delve--or so the demoness had thought. The two were separated by a band of bawdy but well-trained adventurers. Mistaking the child for something the voidsent had kidnapped, the hunters took the screaming, weeping, horned youngster into their camp with them. This was a choice for which they would later pay--dearly. Angered by the audacity that the mortal adventurers had shown, Iregaios emerged from the rubble and wreckage borne of the fight. She had been badly beaten, after all, it had been a rather sizeable pack of mortal punks that had come in after her. As she started to regenerate and patch herself up, the realization hit her--her son was gone. Glamouring herself as something very akin to a Xaela in appearance, the matriarchal voidsent set out to search for her baby--a search that is still very much under way. Rahferu has only recently chosen to come out and integrate with society--a choice that he both regrets and takes pride in on a daily basis. He did not necessarily adopt the more-recent social approach of other Raen, as he'd hidden out in the wilderness for a very long time, even after the fear and confusion upon being rather violently separated from the being that mothered him. Over time, it eventually became obvious that he couldn't keep avoiding these other people, even if their strange languages and blunt, seemingly alien behavior perturbed and frightened him. As Rah gradually integrated with society, he ran into his father at long last, who had been searching for his son for many years with little to no hope of ever finding him. Akasha and his son find adjusting to city-state life and daily interactions with others somewhat difficult, but otherwise enjoy relative peaceful living around Thanalan.

Personality

Rahferu is a sweet but complex person who is often painfully shy and sensitive, choosing to forgo interacting with certain people on account of this. It can also be noted that he appears to have little to no grasp on the concept of sexuality and public displays of affection currently, and more often than not misses the punchlines in dirty humor (largely due to his innocent and carefree approach, such simply flies over his head.) This is often viewed by others as childish, or complex or naivety by those interact with him seldom, or on a purely superficial basis. He tends to become frustrated things that he can't wrap his head around. Rah hates seldom and little, but when people getting hurt is involved, you may be sure to expect a bad reaction from him. His own bad things do not appear to stick to him nearly as much as anyone else's--making him out to be one of those people who 'cares too much'. Generally he adopts a passive-aggressive approach instead of reverting to a violent and volatile state when upset or angered, despite the corresponding half of his heritage. On the inverse side of the coin, he does have a beastshaming temper when pushed too far. Thankfully, it is very hard to make him extremely angry, but undeniably something that will birth a violent and regretful circumstance for most if not all parties involved. Tolerant and uncannily observant, Rahferu is able to mimic many things he sees other people do--usually in order for him to cautiously forge a 'mask' sometimes when interacting with people he does not otherwise know how to approach. His passive and shy nature might seem endearing, but that lack of social understanding has likely cost him many open friendship opportunities.

Frequently, Rah is seen wearing a fitted gold top with a huge, metallic brooch in the center--likely Allagan in origin. The brooch has geometric, linear designs engraved into it, as well as a small crystal that seems to change color and even glow faintly as though it were functional

**NOTE: To clarify, the term 'demon' being used this case is merely an indicator that implies that a part of his heritage would probably earn that generic 'voidsent' autolabel from most Eorzeans.
