 CHARACTER DESCRIPTION
Standing at a healthy 6 fulms, 7 ilms, Gideon is a man who wears his age quite visibly. Tired, somewhat haggard, and all around worn down are probably the most immediately recognizable physical qualities. His eyes bear a warm green ting and his hair is black and healthy, the only thing about him that does not project how old he is. Generally, he can be seen wandering around in thick, long sleeved attire, regardless of the climate of the place he is currently in.
Underneath the fabrics that shield his skin from sight are very grotesque scars, mostly gotten from his time after fleeing Ala Mhigo. Though, he bears many scars from his training as a Shaman when he was younger. The elements did not always respond as he'd intended. Perhaps most notable is on the left side of his torso, ending just above his elbow, extreme burn scars sit on his flesh, leaving it permanently marred and misshapen. It remains one of his deepest insecurities.
As far as his personality goes, Gideon tends to be laid back. He's past the time in his life where allowing things to bother him are worth the energy. While he may be loyal to a fault, he also is not ashamed to state where he disagrees with someone on issues. He also regards people with an honest bluntness. If there is something about someone that sticks out to him, he will not hesitate to speak to them about it, especially if it's a perceived flaw.
Above everything, he is a father first. All of his wealth and earnings go straight to his two children and grandchildren. He believes himself to be at the end of his lifespan, unfearful of death. So he carries only his wedding ring on a chain around his neck as his most beloved possession. He would never admit it to anyone, but he suffers from a very miserable existence. Though, he remains strong for those who must lean on him.
