After an incident putting her in the med bay at their old company he gave her the ability to see something other then the darkness that seemed to claw at her mind. What was ment to be a single distraction, evolved into something more and kept growing as time went on. He is younger then her and that fact honestly shocked her that he'd even be interested in a relationship with her. Over time with his help Kira started to open up and actually talk more to people instead of hiding behind her books or in her room. He's caused her to also stand and fight for what she loves with her heart, even when her body is shaking in fright she does her best to hold her ground for him. Watching him work his forge crafting armor and weapons she started to grab books on the subjects trying to learn to assist if she could, only to be given a raised eyebrow or shake of his head when she couldn't grasp the concepts of heavy armor versus light armor, lightly laughing with a smile on his face as she pouted.
