Basic Info
A happy-go-lucky Keeper of the Moon Miqo'te archer with a penchant for trouble, fish, and the outdoors. Born in the 1553rd year of the Sixth Astral Era, she stands at a modest 5' 0", weighs 126 lbs., has coffee skin and naturally bleached hair. She's often accused of being flirty, which she regularly denies, and gets weak in the knees if her tail is grabbed, a glaring weakness that helped prompt her affinity for the bow. It should be noted that "Kuroda Nakamura" is an alias, not her real name.
History
Very little is known about Kuroda's past. She lived in a tiny Keeper of the Moon tribe with her mother and 5 siblings on one of the forest islands in the Sea of Jade for most of her life. The oldest child in the small family, her siblings looked up to her for her prowess with the bow, her kindness, and her skill as a hunter. Preferring to stay out of the civilized life, as most Keepers of the Moon are wont to do, she spent a mostly happy life in the forests of the far away island.
Ultimately, that all changed on the day of the Battle of Cartneau, when large pieces of the Red Moon Dalamud rained down on her home, the resulting chaos decimating her village and killing her family. Having lost the use of her right eye, as well as being left utterly alone in her grief and sorrow, she stayed in the forest, surviving on her own.
Over the next 5 years she honed her survival and archery skills, in spite of her handicap, and without contact from anyone.
For currently unknown reasons, on the year of her 24th nameday, the 5th year of the Seventh Umbral Era, she made her journey to Eorzea, adopting the alias "Kuroda Nakamura".
Personality
In spite of her past (or maybe because of it), Kuroda has a cheery disposition. She's usually joyous and full of energy, ready to take on any objective with gusto, though she is known to go off on those who annoy or anger her. Having lived in the forests her whole life, she has a strong affinity for the natural world, often opting to sleep on treetops.
Affiliations
Kuroda has joined a number of Free Companies in her new life as an adventurer, but her wanderlust and solidarity have called to her each time, prompting her to leave. She has no plans on joining another.
Other Notes
"Kuroda" and "Nakamura" are actually both Far Eastern Surnames that she has heard in her time of solitude.
