Aelorelle Vallancourt
[edit]
Aelorelle Vallancourt is the second child and first daughter of Leonce Vallancourt and a Hyur mistress remembered only as "Joanelle". Her birth caused an upset within the Vallancourt household, and at the threat of revoking his endowments, Leonce sent Joanelle and Aelorelle away with the promise of reuniting with them both come her fifth nameday.
Raised in the Black Shroud, the contempt for "half-breeds" was largely muted in comparison to that of Ishgard. There, she underwent grueling trials to become a marksman of the Archer's Guild. Come the end of the Dragonsong War and the revelation of the Holy See's corruption, Aelorelle was welcomed into the Vallancourt family by an aunt of generous manner. Despite this, past ridicule of her heritage dissuades her from frequent visits to Ishgard.
Elezen and Hyur traits mingle to produce her appearance, flattered by an unblemished pallor that borders upon the lighter beige. Her ears boast tapered points, and a slender, smaller neck slopes into delicate shoulders. Pearlescent, white hair draws low into tapering curls against her lower back, frequently twined into incomplex braids or a high tail. Her sharp nose and lofty cheekbones tailor her pronounced facial shape, framed in pale tendrils. Aelorelle is partial to the natural shade of her lips. Bowed and beestung, she daubs them in a colorless gloss.
Often the Half-Elezen is remarked for her hourglass frame, pronounced and rounded. A sizable pair of tear-drop shaped breasts sits atop her torso, fastened in taut bandages underneath her bard attire. In leisure or in her barmaid uniform they fill plunging necklines or squeeze into form-fitting cloths and leathers. Hips bearing a prominent breadth pour into curved thighs and heart-shaped rear, both muscled and proof still that despite her curvature Aelorelle possesses athletic ability. Aspects That Stand Out:
Equable and generally unwound, Aelorelle is slow to anger and not as animated as the rest of the Dragon's Crown staff. Demonstrating such a mellow temperament was one of the deciding factors in the previous owner of the tavern to effectively deed it over to Aelorelle, who then relinquished her vagrant days and adventuring stint. Ordinarily she is described as the friend to end arguments and her judgement is prized by younger peers.
Despite this calm, Aelorelle is shown to be a charismatic and encouraging individual who will put up a spirited defense of her morals. Feeling compelled to hold this peace can sometimes be counterproductive, with Aelorelle refusing to communicate her own stress and fears. An inevitable build-up leads to a breakdown, requiring a period of rest before she can open up anew.
