She was discovered orphaned when she was less than a year old by a Roegadyn couple, Bloedaeg and Keimswys. Her Sea Wolf name is Kahnnmoht Keimbluom, but she prefers her Common name, Lackadaisy Lavender. It's easier for others to pronounce, you see. Lackadaisy was raised as a Sea Wolf and that's how she identifies herself to others. As far as anyone can guess, she's a Dunesfolk Lalafell, but who knows? She is an only child. Lack lived a very sheltered childhood in the Mist outside of Limsa Lominsa. Her adoptive parents could not have children and thus were overprotective of her. Until Lack left home, she'd never even been into Limsa on her own. She was schooled at home in technical subjects, especially math and history. However, her greatest love has always been in animals. Though her parents were overprotective, they were also very doting, and thus bought her many pets. Her favorite is a Coeurl named Unda, who is still alive at this point in time. Lackadaisy managed to convince her parents to let her leave home on her own at the age of 18. The condition was, she had to study as an Arcanist so that she might have a Carbuncle as a companion to protect her. Lack had no argument. She just wanted to leave, to explore, and if she could do it with a book and a pet, so much the better. Thus, her journey began. APPEARANCE Lackadaisy is a slight and frail looking 2'10" and 28lbs. She looked strange when traveling in the city with her comparatively giant parents. She has average hands and slightly bigger than average feet. Lack's skin is a ruddy clay brown, which is why most people guess she's a Dunesfolk Lalafell. Her entire face is dotted with dark freckles. Her nose long, thin, and just as dark as her freckles. Under each eye, she has a swoosh-shaped dark purple tattoo. She wears moisturizer on her lips, but forgoes makeup. She has natural dark brown and purple hair. It was kept long her entire life, but when she left home, she had it cut off to get out of her way. Currently, it's styled very shaggy and floofy. She doesn't plan on growing it out. Lack has soulful brown eyes, always having a spark of curiosity and thoughtfulness. Aspects That Stand Out: ■ The tattoos under her eyes ■ The two piercings in each of her ear lobes ■ Her very short height PERSONALITY Lackadaisy, in another universe, would be a true Ravenclaw. She is constantly curious, seeking new information about the world around her. One of the first words she ever spoke was "why?" Why does the sky look like that? Why do the waves go in and out? Why are boats shaped like that? On and on and on, much to the occasional frustration of her parents. Though her curiosity often got her into trouble, her sheltered life kept her naive about life in general. Lack knows science, knows math, knows history, knows art, but she doesn't know people. She's easily taken advantage of, especially considering absolute willingness to help people. Lackadaisy is a thoughtful person, and doesn't often act without thinking through a situation first. However, in the midst of a fight, she is quick on her feet. Practice, practice, always practice, said her mother. She is only so fast on the battlefield because she practices at the Arcanist's Guild in between adventures. L I K E S ■ Animals. Lackadaisy has always been a lover of animals. In addition to her adventuring, she is currently writing a book on the strengths and weaknesses of animals for people to use in battle preparation. ■ Art. Art was one of Lack's favorite school subjects. She's always had an innate talent. She is illustrating her own animal encyclopedia. D I S L I K E S ■ Enclosed spaces. Lackadaisy has lived in the open skies and next to the open seas of La Noscea her entire life. Even houses with closed doors make her a little skittish. ■ 'Gobbues. She's allergic to moss, which isn't great when you're living in a wet environment. Fighting a giant moss creature doesn't make that any better. H O B B I E S ■ Art. Lackadaisy always carries a sketchbook, pencils, and charcoal. She will draw anything and anyone she finds interesting. ■ History. She's always wanting to know the history of the people she meets and the places she visits. She takes time to visit local libraries and artifact collections. S T R E N G T H S ■ Strategist. Studying creatures and reading others' research has made her a pretty good tactician. ■ Compassion. Lack is always willing to give people a second chance, even if they've hurt her. She tries to protect her friends and allies as best she can. W E A K N E S S E S ■ Naivety. Lackadaisy will trust just about anyone with any little thing. She's learning, but very, very slowly. ■ Physical weakness. While she has the endurance for long travel by foot, don't ask her to lift or punch anything. She relies more on speed than strength.
