P E R S O N A L I T Y

Genuine. Fun-loving. Boisterous. Determined. Baergrim is a no bullshit, no shit taken from anyone, no shits given kind of man. He'll tell you how it is whether it hurts or not, blunt to a fault. If he thinks you messed up, he'll call you out on it, but, at the same time he's still capable of some form of humility, but not often. He firmly believes the truth can hurt, but that's why you have friends and allies to back you up and support you even when you're down. When it comes to comradery, Baergrim's about as real as it gets. He's fiercely loyal to those he calls friends, and would likely die for them, although sometimes it's hard for some to stay friends with him for very long, hence why he has very few -true- friends.

Baergrim firmly believes in the more the merrier. He likes to work hard, and play harder - one of his favorite past-times including drinking. Baer's definitely a rum kind of guy, but there's one kind of alcohol he favors over even rum - the free kind! He feels no shame in getting drunk with the locals, even going so far as to participate in drinking games and competitions. Being a pretty big guy, he could put the stuff away! Bear prefers a party setting over a more intimate setting any day of the week, and will often be found in bars attempting to surround himself with as many people as possible.

As fun-loving as he is, Baergrim's also a very boisterous and proud Ala Mhigan, perhaps going so far as to being obnoxious. If you ask him to tell stories, he'll proudly recant his many adventures, and he's had a lot of them, being in his late 30's. He won't tell a story that isn't true, even if it might be just a little embellished for dramatic effect. In the social setting, he's often found to be the loudest in the room if he can be. He talks loud, jokes loud, and laughs loud - the typical big oaf sort. He's definitely not the sort of man who favors, nor is adept at, subtlety.

All appearances aside, however, he's actually a rather determined man, and, when you set him to a task, he'll stop at nothing to complete it, even if it kills him. This leads some to believe him to be rather stubborn and hard-headed, though he really views it as having integrity. You ask him to do something, he's damn well gonna do it! This makes him the perfect mercenary.
