Appearance
Y’suzu is a short Seeker of the sun Miqo’te. With pale skin and no marking visible. She has blood red eyes that were considered a bad omen within her tribe. Her hair is black, and she keeps it in her twin tails. She has a rather soft childish face, she is considered “cute” buy many that meet her. Due to her much short stature she is often considered a child. Quite a tomboy she rarely wears skirts and dresses but will if they are required. She tends to stick to dark colours, but mostly she will wear black.
Brief History
Born to A’neki Tomo and Y’tosh Nunh, Y’suzu was for a long time considered a black sheep due to her eye colour. This bad omen was made much clearer when Y’suzu developed magical talents which much of the tribe did not understand.
A’neki wanted a normal life for her daughter, as a result she left the tribe with her daughter and the two lived in Limsa Lominsa. Y’suzu began training at a young age as an Archanist, and much later became a Scholar. Y’suzu became quite skilled in her studies and would rarely been seen without her head in a book. A few years passed and A’neki became ill forcing her to stop work, as a result she lost a lot of gil, the mother and daughter was forced to leave their home. Y’suzu, one night at the inn, working as a waitress for the inn met a strange Hyur man. The man told Y’suzu of his servious to society, he offered Y’suzu a large amount of gil, enough to last Y’suzu and her mother a lifetime. Life for Y’suzu and her mother were looking good once again, however Y’suzu’s mother’s illness worsened. Sacrificing her studies and work, the debt to the man slowly grew.
A year went by and A’neki’s illness remained, and Y’suzu’s studies almost became non-existent. One day the Hyur man entered Y’suzu’s house, why she wasn’t home. When Y’suzu returned, the man stood next to A’neki’s bed, A’neki was lifeless on the bed. The man told Y’suzu that she owned him gil and was taking it out on her mother. Angered by this Y’suzu attempted to kill the man with but lack the time to properly form a spell, as a result the man face was scared. The man ran, leaving Y’suzu little time to gather her things to leave her home. Y’suzu found herself in Ul’dah, she decided that she would make a new life here. Tossing away the books and spells, for a sword and armour. She became a sell sword, doing odd jobs to make her way.
Two years have passed, and Y’suzu is now 17 years old. She believes her past life is over and it won’t come back to haunt her.
Personality
Y’suzu was never a social person, she tends to hide herself away from the world. She is quite smart due to her training as a Scholar, and often uses spells combined with her sword skills. She somewhat lacks friends, but she believes it to be better that way. She can seem a little harsh towards people, but this is simply because she does not know how to act in front of other since it is rare someone will come up to her and start chatting. She will rarely talk about herself because she feels that she would involve others into her life, which she does not want.
Never one to walk into the Quicksand when it’s busy out of fear that someone will try and talk to her. She often hides herself in back alleys and blind corners. Even though she is a sell sword that requires communication between others she rarely talks to clients and only wants the details.

Strengths
Y’suzu is extremely skilled with magic have a natural abilities with it. Despite her small frame she is very agile but lacks the energy to keep up at times. She is proud of her ability to mix her spells with her combat with a sword. While not the best swords woman she is a fast learner and with the ability to mix magic in with her sword skills she us quite a fearsome opponent.
Y’suzu was once known as a really fund social person to be around, but lately that seem far from who she is. Only a rare few ever get to see Y’suzu act this way. She has a good understanding of morals, and has received jobs where someone in the wrong wanted revenge on other that just didn’t seem fair, she knows herself that she is not judge, jury, and executioner, but in these situations she will rarely lift a finger, and just leave.
Weaknesses
Y’suzu often gets emotionally involved in situation she knows she shouldn’t. In these cases she lack good judgement and cannot fight well at all. She doesn’t consider herself cocky, but can be known to be. In cases of being emotionally involved she will often get herself into fights that do not involve her. In an attempt to not get involved in these situations she has cut herself off from the world and only focuses on the job at hand.
Because she is cut off from the world, she does not talk to anyone, so she can somewhat lack social skills at times. Y’suzu even when she makes friends with people will not truly trust that person, and finds it hard to warm up to people especially if they do something wrong in their relationship.
Y’suzu can be very forgiving, but and does not often seek revenge on people that have wronged her. If the opportunity presented itself to her to get back at someone she would most likely take it if her emotions were involved.
