Basic Information
Yesui Himaa is a female Xaela, currently exploring the world for new wonders and knowledge. She has spent the first twenty years of her life in the Azim Steppe, but has recently began to explore the rest of the world in search of things that have been lost to her.
Yesui was born into the Himaa tribe within the Azim Steppe. She had two loving parents along with a twin sister, which are very common occurrences in the Himaa tribe. Whilst she was very close with her immediate family, she didn't get to know her other relatives due to the anonymity of tribal life.
Now in Eorzea, Yesui has ambitions to show the more civilised side of Xaela, and provide a good role model for people to follow, Xaela or not.
Visual Information
Being a Xaela, Yesui has deep red eyes, along with a red limbral ring; shared with deep, pale skin. She has natural black hair, with purple highlights. The hair is fairly short, swept to the left side of her face. She is considerably small for a Xaela, being only 4'8" and weighing 95 lb. That being said, she keeps a fit, lean build.
Yesui also has blue horns, going backwards from her head. Alongside with that, she has scales coming from the side of her head and protruding towards her face. She has thin eyebrows, and puts black eyeliner around her eyes. In addition to this, she uses black lipstick over her mouth.
Outside of combat, Yesui likes to wear an open-front overcoat, decorated with golden buttons and purple ribbons, which gives a formal look. The coat goes up to her neck, with a collar neatly going upwards towards her head. She wears black high-heeled boots and stockings going up to her upper thigh, decorated with elaborate patterns near the top.
Personality
Yesui would be seen as a kind heart with a cold exterior. She has a formal dialect and speaks her mind in a straightforward way. She also prioritises etiquette and manners, making sure to be polite. At first glance, she would be seen as cold and mysterious. But after a while, you learn that she is prone to making jokes and witty remarks. Yesui is a kind person, and is willing to help and care for people. Whilst she is very dependable, she is also stubborn in her ways. After deciding on something, it would be hard to get her to change her mind. She gets stubborn over the well beings of herself and other people, along with her duties.
Yesui feels like everything revolves around her, so she blames herself whenever bad things happen. If she doesn't do something to the best standard, she will blame herself for it. This effect is amplified if it involves other people or her duties, as she feels as though it is her responsibility to protect them. That being said, Yesui does feel like she is strong and capable, so she is confident in everything she does, even if the odds are clearly against her.
Towards her friends, Yesui treats them differently based on how they are viewed to her. Some people she might tease and ridicule for their strength and personality. Other people she might respect and care for. She enjoys having casual conversations, thoughtful debates, and anything outside of arguments and offensive/crude topics. Despite how she might treat some of her friends, Yesui cares for them deeply and is willing to protect them with her life.
Yesui sees the possibility of reform in most people, thus she will not kill unless absolutely necessary; preferring to injure or K.O. her enemies instead. She sees negative things to be these that will needlessly injure or kill people, or reduce their quality of life. Depending on how strongly she feels about it, Yesui will make sure that bad things are dealt with before moving on to other activities.
Stengths/Weaknesses
Strengths
- Yesui is very strong, having great strength and an ex-ordinary pain tolerance. This has came from a life long period of training, having been fighting as young as three. She has a good technique with the shield, which she uses in accordance with her strength to protect things that are dear to her.
- Yesui is very loyal and dependable. She puts her word over her life, and treats people with utmost humility. She makes sure to be as honest as she can, but also makes sure to have a tact to ensure that offensive views are kept to herself.
Weaknesses
- Yesui is extremely stubborn. Even if the odds are clearly against her, Yesui is still willing to perform an activity until it is completed. This leads to being put in needless danger, potentially hurting herself and others. Her stubbornness has almost got her killed on many occasions, and she rarely learns from these experiences.
- Yesui is very quick to blame herself and feel bad about herself. If a bad thing happens, she will find a way to pin the blame on herself, even if there's nothing she could have done. Even whilst fighting, if she cannot get past an adversary or protect someone she will blame herself for being too weak.
