Appearance
Lacey is petite for a midlander hyur. Her frame is average for a woman her size, slight but enough curves to attract attention and not be described as boyish. On closer observation she is toned, mostly in the upper body from time spent practicing archery and ninjutsu.
Lacey face is generally serious and she generally reserves a smile for special occasions. Her skin is pale and easily sun burnt. After spending too much time in the sun her face will become freckles, an attribute she detests and vainly keeps an eye on.
History
Lacey was born in a country on the continent of Ilsabard. By the time she was born her country had already been part of the ever expending Garlean Empire for several years. Her parents worked for an underground faction working to retake their homeland. As such Lacey was raised to hate the Garlean Empire. When she was eight, her parent’s, along with the rest of the underground faction, were captured and executed for high treason. Lacey was conscripted into the Garlean Army and upon being assessed for her natural talents, began training in a secret academy that focused on espionage. The academy trained her in the eastern art of Ninjutsu. The academy also conducted human experimentation on the students in order to improve their natural abilities. Like most recruits, Lacey began working in the field between her training, when she was twelve. She failed her first mission horribly due to empathetic tendencies (this will be expended on later) and it was decided that she was better suited as a sleeper agent rather working directly in the field. She underwent significant psychological conditioning, taking on different persona’s only to be activated in the field by a phrase and to take out key targets that proved to be threats to the Garlean Empire. Most recently she was located in Doma when the Empire lost control of it. Implanted as a sleeper agent (amongst other agents) with the mission of helping to retake Doma, she was captured by the countries forces. Somehow she managed to find her way aboard a Doman refugee boat and has fled from the Empire to freedom in Eorzea. Currently she is working as a freelance spy/assassin in Eorzea.
Personality
As an ex Garlean spy she is very manipulative. She can take on different persona’s quite convincingly. Amongst friends she would be described as quiet, preferring to listen rather than talk. While she attempts at most times to keep a cold, calm demeanor she can become over emotional about issues close to her like the Garlean Empire or pertaining to the safety of her friends.
