Appearance

Thala'to is a darkskinned Keeper of the Moon, of average height and weight. His long hair is pitch black, a color shared by the fur on his pointy ears and his long tail, however the hair here tends to be shorter and more sleek. He has a single scar from a time where he got too close to an axe on his left upper arm, a scar that he tends to cover up in bandages, pieces of clothing or even make-up. He is always well-groomed, swearing by a daily bath with oils and cremes to keep his skin soft. He uses scent-waters to hide any unwanted bodily scents, following a line of thinking where less is more, so as not to overwhelm people with a bombardment of scents. His shape is formidable, there would be no shadow of a doubt that he spent a great deal of his morning hours on a work-out routine, resulting in well- defined muscles and a strength to match, akin to what might see in a martial artist. He wears light clothing, not shy of wearing pieces that expose his best features, and tends to prefer the darker colors. Of equipment, he may be seen carrying around a backpack or a satchel from time to time, otherwise he has a few pouches attached to his belt.

History

Thala'to, the second son of Thala Relehna, was born and raised in Ul'dah with home in the Mirage where his mother had worked as a dancer ever since she ran away from her family. It wasn't the greatest of places to raise a child, let alone two, and after some arrangements it was decided that Thala'tos elder brother, Mauh'a Relehna, was to be taken back to the family. Thala remained adamant on keeping Thala'to with her, stating that he was too young to go anywhere, and that he needed his mother. To Thala'to and everyone else, she explained that her brother had succumbed to a sudden illness, and when she fell into a depression over the "loss" of her first son, it never seemed so odd. Though many would shoot worrying glances at the two, especially as it seemed that Thala seemed to neglect Thala'to more and more with every passing day.

As Thala'to grew older, he learned to make him useful around the Mirage, keeping himself hidden from costumers that could raise questions about a child so young working in a bar. He grew more distant to his mother, and ended up being looked after by the few staff members that decided he wasn't deserving of what he'd ended up with. And as he came of age, those very people would be the ones to sell the idea of training him as a dancer to one of the coordinators that worked with the performers. Thala'to appeared to have talent, and he taught himself to appreciate the dance and make the most out of it, so that one day he would pass the final tests and earn his spot on the stage. He never expected that he would share that spot with someone even more talented, nor did he expect the life-changing effects the friendship he formed with this "Jewel of Ul'dah" would become.

Personality

Thala'to is someone who can be described as a bit of an oddball, despite his many years of working in the spotlight on a stage, he seems to thrive the most outside of it. Some argue that this is because he has been surrounded by people whom could steal all of the attention, causing him to stand in their shadows. If you were to ask him, he'd just shrug and smile. He appears to be a gentle caring creature, and is deeply loyal to the friends he has. He is selfless, and would rather spend gil on making sure everyone else is content, before he considers using them on himself. He enjoys visiting bars, and when he is single he does flirt when something takes his fancy. Thala'to rarely seems to keep love interests around for a long time, and he can appear a little too naive for his own good. He is not shy of simply listening to peoples stories and problems even if they are strangers, and is always thorough with any work he does.

He has a tendency to stay in corners, shadows and sides of rooms, and if he feels there is a reason to he will make sure not to draw attention to himself. If exposed to catnip he gets rather silly, and doesn't appear to remember it afterwards. He's almost -too- honest in all sorts of awkward ways.
