Biography

Edelin was born to a scholar and soldier in Ishgard and lived a life much like any other, until her mother's desertion brought shame upon her family. Her father, angry and heartbroken, disavowed any knowledge of his wife and continued raising Edelin alone, determined to impress upon her the importance of loyalty and duty above everything else. Edelin took the lessons to heart and enlisted in the military as soon as she came of age. Often she comes under ridicule and suspicion but she doesn't let it deter her, needing to prove that she can and will succeed, to herself as much as to others.
