Basic Info
Being a well-accomplished Naval trader in his time before coming to Eorzea, Higura wanders the land, making coin where he can, to one day buy a ship, to sail back home. Shipwrecked, and left for dead, he was brought to Limsa Lominsa, where he uses his understanding of the economy, and marketplace, to help make a name for himself. When he's not trying to kill things with his axe, of course. A typically easy-going guy, he tends to show people that he's doing just fine in Eorzea. This is however, a mask for his true feelings of his predicament. If questioned, he'll say he's from the land of Doma.

Appearance & Personality
- Standing with confidence, the first thing people tend to notice about Higura is his violet colored eyes, an uncommon feature, where he comes from. His face is without any scars, however, he has several marks on his body, namely his right arm, and several upon his back, which he obtained while being shipwrecked. Hair is a cool silver, complimented by strands of white intermixed.
- Having been a naval merchant, he'd ferry goods across the seas, becoming a skilled helmsman, as well as a fairly charismatic individual. Facing adversity in the most uncommon of places, he would develop a sense of caution, whenever he was placed in a new environment. This was no different when he arrived in Eorzea. Having the ability to read and being fairly intelligent, he typically plays the role of the dumb foreigner to learn about the places around him, which can sometimes get him in trouble.
Biography
Life before Eorzea
- A long time ago, there was a skilled warrior in a far off land, who fought to defend those he cared about from all manner of beasts. He was an outsider to this land, claiming to have come to the land from the very stars themselves. However, no one believed him. He had lofty dreams of becoming incredibly wealthy, and using his money, and power, to return to his homeland, some day. Upon the realization that it was impossible, he settled down, and fell in love with a local princess. One day, the princess went missing, and no one seemed concerned, or surprised she vanished. Using his amassed fortune, he sailed the world over, searching for the princess. His voyage took him to the ends of the world, slaying all manner of beasts, including the dreaded Kraken. He never found the princess.
- Defeated, he returned home. Having met with may different nations, around the world, he opted to start a naval company, trading goods with places far across the ocean. Business was good, if not a little boring. However, one day, his crew decided that they would attempt a mutiny, during a storm of all times. The mutiny was shortlived, as a massive beast rose from the sea. Higura pulled an axe from the creatures marred body, and tried to do battle with it, as he had with so many other beasts of the sea. Using one of its massive appendages, the ship was torn asunder, sinking to the ocean depths. Higura, who had gripped his axe with dear life, was spared, as he was flung from the ship into the sea.
Holding onto the axe for dear life, he lost consciousness in the vastness of the sea.
Eorzea
- Found adrift at sea, in nothing but rags, the crew took him aboard, but could not pry the rusted axe from his hand. They gave him a change of clothes, and left him in Limsa Lominsa when they reached port. Shaken by his experience, Higura kept to the city, never leaving its walls. Fishing for a bit of coin here and there, as well as exterminating the local rat population, he spends his off time reading, in the lower hall of the Arcanist's guild.
