Character
General
Before Carteneau, the House Deathmate owned a small mine that was moderately successful. After the battle and Bahamut's defeat, no one in their family was harmed, however, they were economically crippled. Their once thriving small mining operation was buried under tonnes of rubble and ash. They shifted professions quickly in the aftermath, hoping to get back on their feet before they were completely ruined. They managed to buy a ship and open a cruise business, selling tickets for luxury passage between Ul'dah and Limsa Lominsa, as well as a select few other locations. They enjoy nice living conditions, but they aren't as wealthy as most other nobles in Ul'dah.
Family Overview
A Midlander family. Patriarch Arkvi (51) is of medium height (Five fulms ten ilms), has short black hair, although it's beginning to go grey, dark blue eyes, a ragged beard, and is tanned by the Ul'dahn sun. He has a scar on his left eye from his military past. Arkvi is not exorbitantly wealthy and thus does not dress like most well off families in Ul'dah.
Matriarch Valerie (49) is five fulms five ilms, has greying short hair, brown eyes, and isn't nearly as dark skinned as her husband. She prefers to stay indoors or under the deck of the cruise ships.
Lady Jessica (24) is the elder child of the Deathmate family. She has blue eyes like her father and shares her parents tanned skin. She often worked for her family as a cook on their cruise ships until recently when she started adventuring. She is hoping for a life filled with more fun.
Lord Kratocra (15) is the youngest child of the Deathmate family. He is being raised to take over the business when his parents pass away. Currently he is working as a fisherman when not studying.
