Appearance

A tall highlander, standing around six fulm and two ilms. Shoulder length hair, usually dyed red however has been seen to have natural dark brown on the very odd occasion (mostly for special events). Under the stands bears a tough, glaring face featuring golden yellow eyes and unusual Ala Mihgan tattoo that stroke across her left side of the face. Her jaw seems chiselled, sharply defined to the chin. Her body is lean, yet very muscular almost as if built for high explosive damage in bursts yet holding onto a high amount of stamina. Her posture is straight, serious at work however she has been known to slump outside of her profession in a relaxed and lazy fashion. Her body and face possess some noticable scarring. On the face her left eyebrow cuts off twice from two minute slash scars. Her back holds very deep, claw like scars that trail down her back down to the base of the spine. Both arms carry an arrangement of multiple bite marks, presumably from animals judging by the very defined indents they've produced.

History

Early Life

Born Ala Mihgan, Ira does not possess any memories of her homeland past the fact that she was dragged off at a very young age by her mother to escape for some reason, it is unsure if it was due to the Garlean invasion for for some other reason. Such an escape led to abandonment as they arrived near Limsa Lominsa as her mother, Isa Lyon, eventually revealed her real intentions. She simply wished to leave for the life of a pirate after being influenced by other pirates that rested along the border due to grounding. Ira would soon learn that there was no way around this situation and that she herself had to live for herself, to survive on her own. What started off as simple begging soon turned to petty heft and minor crimes, taking what was available to her through her agile nature. Through the many years she was caught, however was simply tossed aside to try again due to her childish nature. w

Such a life of hiding and hunting grew tiresome and soon Ira would leave Limsa for a different method of survival and upkeep, mercenary work. Despite her being a young adult she still strived and worked her best, becoming a bodyguard and a tracker for those who needed such a thing. Even now, almost ten cycles later, she still strives under the same job and still aims to take what she earns and deserves.

Anemoi Saga

Through mercenary work and constant vicious clashes between mother and daughter, Ira soon discovered more about herself and where she was from. Through a line of contacts she soon discovered her father to be one of the last remaining "Anemoi" clan members, a clan that dedicated themselves to a powerful martial art known as "Wind Cutting". Her mother abandoned the life for chasing and freedom, opting to push aside the important task of keeping an art only found in Gyr Abania alive. Her father was found in Ul'dah, a gambling addict after giving up on the resistance he was so determined to work for. Through time together, she learned of the Wind Cutting art to it's most basic form and on her namesday she received a crystal which was said to hold the memories of former martial artists that worked and developed the art that is now almost lost.

Training to keep the art going, finding it to be not only a useful tool she can use (and not be pathetically bad at), her mother caught news and retaliated. She deemed the idea to be idiotic and that past things should remain in the past. Conflict ensued again and eventually both mother and father clashed, ending only in both's lives being lost. The ordeal shocked Ira's system and she ended up resorting to leaving her work behind to come to reason with herself and what had been going on. An entire moon it took before she returned to her work with both a stronger mind and a greater understanding of herself and what she possesses. Now she uses the crystal to strengthen her own art of wind cutting and through trials she is developing her own style and own logic behind the art itself.

Personality

Blunt, forward yet still light hearted and quite a positive character with a strong hold on loyalty. Tends to take the direct approach to things rather than finding a reasonable one. Has a habit of complimenting women, throwing her blunt and forward personality at the poor individual. Is often perceived as an oddball, being very relaxed and at ease when not dealing with work to the point of almost looking and sounding lazy yet is constantly down to earth and always to the point when deal with work or a serious situation. In combat she constantly gives off an air of intimidation and acts like an un-moving wall when acting defensively, constantly throwing comments to taunt and aggravate with the intent on enraging. Secretly she is a masochist, often grinning in excitement when taking a beating and feeding off the adrenaline.
