General
Tiegan Trix is a young Miqo'te woman who can usually be found with a smile on her face and a spring in her step. Through her upbringing, she has become quite the talented performer and can often be found displaying her skills for all. She tries her hardest to move on from her past of poverty and being the oldest child in a family of professional dancers. Because of the pressures placed on her by her obligation to her family craft and the poverty they experienced in Ul'dah, Tiegan decided to make an impactful change to her life. At the age of 18, Tiegan began to learn the ways of the Pugilist from her mentor, Hamon. Eventually she would use the skills acquired to join the Rogue's guild in order to provide a better life for herself and her family. When Tiegan initially joined the Rogue's guild, she was met with less than favorable feedback. She had been known for her dancing and was seen as a delicate flower that would never be able to keep up with the strenuous requirements of becoming a Rogue. In order to prove herself, she worked endlessly to surpass all expectations. After only one year in the Rogue's guild she had built a reputation for herself as the Dancing Ninja. She was incredibly quick and her movements flowed in such a way that it seemed almost as if she were dancing. At the age of 20 Tiegan decided that she had learned all that she could from her time as a Rogue, and set off on her own journey of exploration and self discovery. Tiegan is a romantic and has always dreamed of falling in love and providing a better life for her children than she had although her rough upbringing causes her to seem slightly disconnected and slow to open up. Despite growing up on the streets of Ul'dah without a penny to her name, Tiegan is highly educated due to her drive and ambition, as she is entirely self-taught. She believes that to have pure intentions is the most honorable way to live and vows to help anyone in need within her power to do so.
Appearance
Height
Tiegan is slightly shorter than the average Miqo'te of her age. That being said, what she lacks in size she makes up for in fortitude.
Body
Being an dancer, Tiegan was under constant scrutiny of her body. She is always in top physical form and is very proud of this fact. She is very slim but possesses a desirable womanly figure. Her arms, stomach and legs are all thin and toned. She is very aware of her outward appearance and uses it to her advantage.
Complexion
Tiegan's skin color is slightly tan and matches that of her father whom passed away when she was very young.
Hair
Tiegan has very thick dark black hair with natural silver highlights present throughout, a trait she acquired from her father as her sister and mother are both silver haired.
Eyes
Tiegan's eyes are both a bright blue color that reflect that of Hydaelyn.
Fashion
Tiegan is very fashion forward and places a lot of importance on the way she appears to others. She prefers to show more skin than a lot of the women of Eorzea as it empowers her and serves as a reminder that she has the freedom to make her own choices.
Behavior
Tiegan is often labelled as flirty but too focused. She is a hopeless romantic but she knows that before she can make any kind of romantic commitment, she must first find satisfaction within herself. Because of this, she sometimes can come off as unattainable.
She is very intelligent, whether the subject is focused around history or survival, she is apt to keep the conversation going. She doesn't have a hard time meeting people because she is very friendly and well socialized, but she has a hard time trusting people and creating close friendships because of her difficult upbringing. She is always the first person to offer assistance and go out of her way for those around her.
When it comes to battle, she is very focused on the role she plays. She is extremely critical of herself, and often pushes herself beyond her limit while striving for improvement.
Combat
Her fighting style has given her the name, The Dancing Ninja because of her graceful movements and quick steps. Her combat style is a combination of skills she learned from Pugilists, Rogues and Ninjas, but it heavily influenced by her time as a dancer in Ul'dah.
Hobbies/Talents
Tiegan enjoys being active, whether that means bouncing through the city of Ul'dah, running through the forests of Gridania or dancing on the docks of Limsa Lominsa. She is a professional dancer and can preform various dances from all over. She also enjoys long walks on the beach and caring for her Chocobo.
Family
Tyrian Trix (Deceased)
Tiegan's father was a Miqo'te man that could only be described as an unlawful savant. He was astonishingly educated for someone that made a living by scheming the wealthy to provide for the less fortunate. He was a very focused and driven man, but often he was forced to be involved with very dangerous people. He is described as tall and toned, with very thick black hair and dark skin. He met an untimely death when Tiegan was very young leaving behind a wife and two children.
Tina Trix
Tiegan's mother, a Miqo'te originally named Tina Acosta, grew up in fairly well off household. She has several brothers and sisters and parents that loved her very much. She loved to study the arts, especially dancing. She was also a very humble and kind person. When she was 16 years old, her parents were abruptly taken away from her and she and her siblings were separated. She was then forced into slavery and served outside of Ul'dah until Tyrian rescued her from her captor and asked her to marry him. They very quickly had two daughters, Tiegan and Tahlia. When her husband passed away, Tina taught her daughters to dance based on what she had learned as a child so that they would be able to support themselves. She is very short and thin, with long silver hair. She is still currently alive and living in Ul'dah.
Tahlia Trix
Tiegan's younger sister and closest friend. Tiegan and Tahlia had a very difficult life as children after their father passed away. She loved to dance and was happy that she had something to share with her sister and mother but always wished for more. She looks up to her older sister, Tiegan, for going after her dreams and making something of herself. She is very short, thin and toned. She has silver hair and bright blue eyes. She is still alive and currently living in Ul'dah but she hopes to one day become and adventurer.
