A'vlan Nunh (ah-VLAN noon) is a Miqo'te scholar and bard hailing from the city-state of Sharlayan. At his own admittance, his title is archaic, the offshoot of his tribe that had settled in the Sharlayan motherland having been slaughtered almost completely, to his knowledge.

Character

Appearance

Stands at roughly five fulms six ilms, his most noticeable features being: short, storm-blue hair; feline, amber eyes; and fairly youthful features, despite supposedly being middle-aged.

Generally lightly armoured and almost always wearing a feathered hat. He tends to carry some kind of oversized, elaborate harp.

Personality

Eccentric, inquisitive and scholarly. To the annoyance of some, he never seems to utilise conjunction.

Combat

General

Despite his chagrin at supposedly being expected to "assault his foes with nothing more than jaunty harp tunes and harsh language," his peculier harp unfolds into a mixture of instrument and weapon. Although it appears similar to the legendary Artemis Bow, he is swift to correct those mistaken: it is nothing more than a less-decorated mimic of the relic, born of his fancy for legend, melody and archery united.

He largely avoids combat, instead using honeyed words to try and talk himself out of a potentially violent situation. Despite this, combat does not avoid him, and his sister's insistance that he oft finds himself in trouble may not be completely untrue.

Family

A'liri Malyi: A huntress aswell as his dear twin sister. Considering that the rest of their group had been slaughtered some time ago, she is annoyingly over-protective of him, whilst he believes her skilled enough to take care of herself.

Friends

Rance Ironheart: More of an aquaintance, A'vlan met the Sultansworn inside the Quicksand with his sister. He has a generally positive opinion of him, but will forever wonder how one handles a quill with gauntlets on.
