At first, Ai can come off as a little cold or even rude. When she speaks, she usually speaks with elegance and pride that can come off sounding more harsh than that she has originally intended. Ai does pride herself on her knowledge of things however and in her attempts to explain what's going on, she can come off sounding like a know it all. Whenever she is challenged, Ai can quickly become stubborn and set in her ways, to the point where she will refuse to admit that she is wrong even when it dawns on her that she is. Afterwards though, she'll take the time to try to understand the err in her ways and what makes the other persons side the truth. Because of this though, Ai has a pride that can be easily damaged but also easily repaired.

On the other hand, Ai is more than willing to provide her services whenever someone is in need. Up until this point, Ai has never left someone in need of help on their own and will often sacrifice whatever she's doing in order to ensure the safety of others. Once she becomes familiar with a person, she will do everything to her abilities to assure they are all set for whatever task they face. She is a kind soul and gently spoken, offering words of wisdom she has picked up on her travels through other adventurers or adventures of her own. Ai is a girl who loves to laugh and meet up with people, new and friends alike, to explore the world.

Ai is very soft spoken most of the time, to the point where people usually have to ask her to speak up a bit more. She does not necessarily come off sounding shy, but more like someone who is just trying to stay hidden in the background and watch from afar. Whenever she's talking about something she's passionate about though, Ai seems to speak up and talk with a considerable amount of excitement.

H I S T O R Y & I N F O

There is not too much that has been revealed about the young Raen. It does not appear that she hails from any sort of wealth, for when she was found venturing through Ul'dah, she had but a few pieces of gil in her pockets and a torn up brown cloak. No jewels, no elaborate make up or hair. Just a pale skinned young woman and her fairy, offering aid to those ill within the desert streets. From her complexion and her extreme ease to burn her skin, there was no doubt that Ai hailed from the far mountains, where she had probably once lived life peacefully in the snow until curiosity eventually got the best of her. Ai does not seem to recall many events past her arrival in Ul'dah, though Selene seems to know something no one else does.

L I K E S ❤ KNOWLEDGE. Ai is always seeking to further her education and loves to listen to tales of history and lore, as well as reading scripts, books, and anything else she can get her hands on. ❤ RAIN. If it's raining outside and Ai is no where inside to be found, no doubt she'll be hidden in a dry spot enjoying the scent and sound of the rain. ❤ SWEETS. By sweets, that means Pearl Chocolates. Ai's favorite, and the fastest way to get her to agree to something.

D I S L I K E S ❤ CHAOS. Ai likes to kind of keep a control on things and make sure everything goes according to plan. When it doesn't...well.. ❤ DISTRACTIONS. Distractions are never good for someone who is suppose to be keeping people alive. ❤ HEAT. Coming from a colder climate, Ai can't handle the heat very well and tends to wear out quickly in it.

Q U I R K S ❤ HUMMING. It seems like that is one of the main ways that Ai occupies her time. ❤ CUTIES. If Ai happens to pass by anything remotely cute, she'll have to stop to pet and oogle it. Sometimes they're not as friendly though... ❤ STARING. It happens when she doesn't realize it, but Ai can get stuck staring at someone in thought long periods of time.
