Basic Info

(This is all one big WIP and will be updated regularly) Alir is a young headstrong mage with a knack for chatting about even the most mundane of things. He is a friendly and approachable man though has a general lack of manners. He is ambitious and in the vast majority of anything he does in life, especially in dealings with others, his primary motives are to further his own goal, whatever they may be at the time. On the business side of things, he often takes up mercenary work and different odd jobs here and there. He's known in some darker circles for taking on some of the more unpleasant jobs people may have to offer, and takes pride in the fact that he always lives up to his side of a deal.

While he can be reckless in his use of aether, he has a deep seated respect, lingering even on fear, for it and wishes both to better understand it and how to better utilize it. He's not one to show off with displays of magic either, and prefers only to use it when absolutely necessary. He has recently taken up training in martial arts and while he certainly couldn't hold his own against any dedicated martial artist, he knows enough to defend himself in minor scuffles and brawls, most of the time.
