Personality & Appearance

Aly is a pale Keeper of the Moon, with two striped markings on each cheek. Her eyes have been described a pale blue like moonlight on a lake at night. Her hair is about mid back in length and is a pale pink, almost white. She is a little on the short side with her 5'2 height, and tend to make herself taller any way she can. Her tail is long and fluffy and is also prehensile. Her clothing choices vary greatly depending on her mood, they go from dark and layered to thin and flamboyant. At first meeting she is a rambling, blushing shy woman that will more likely pour her drink on you by accident then give you a sly flirty response. But once she warms up to someone she quickly calms down and people get to meet a sweet fun loving Miqo'te that can be your best friend or fierce protector. You will usually find her on assignment, but the moments of piece in between jobs she likes to spend at an inn, sipping a drink and reading a novel.

Growing up

Aly grew up in a big family with a particular tradition. Her mother, grandmother, great grandmother and so forth ran inn's. When their children reached maturity they were kicked out of their homes with nothing but the shirts on their backs and told to make it on their own in the world, or rather make enough money to run an inn of your own someday. The same thing happened to Aly, one day she was sitting at the dining table with all her sisters and brother and then her mother came down stairs, grabbed her by the back of her shirt and hauled her outside, telling her it was time. Part of her was glad for it, she wouldn't have to be surrounded by siblings and taking care of them, but she quickly found out it was a lot easier to take care of siblings over making it on your own. The first place she traveled was Gridania and fell in with the Archery guild, quickly falling in love with using a bow and arrow. Whenever she felt upset as soon as she let loose and arrow at a target it was like all the negative emotion went right with the arrow into the heart of the target. Once she learned all she could from the guild she took off to travel around to look for any odd job, usually just paying enough to keep a roof over her head and a meal every night. One such night she was unlucky and had no gil for lodging or food, and found herself wandering around the central shroud looking for something to hunt for food. As she hunted she came across the most lovely feminine voice and found a hyur woman sitting by a campfire strumming on a harp, singing a beautiful song. She noticed Aly and invited her to sit down and enjoy the song and fill her belly with the stew she was cooking. They stayed up all night singing together and enjoying the night, and by the end of it the woman had convinced Aly the there was more to archery than just shooting a target, and with her voice she could evolve to something greater, a bard. She spent a year traveling with the woman she came to know as Camilla, singing in taverns and urging comrades on with the power of their voices and music. After the year was over Aly decided it was time to stop leaning on Camilla's shoulder and then started her travels alone.

Present

At the moment Aly is has taken up a contact with Nine Lives Inc, a mercenary free company that handles anything from guard assignments to assassinations. Not having a heart to kill anything that is not a monster she tends to stick to the guard assignments. She is still struggling day to day to keep a roof over her head and food in her belly, but she tries to keep an optimistic view on life. When she isn't working she has recently started to look for her father, knowing only that he was a Keepper of the Moon that was passing through her mothers tavern and she took advantage of him being there to conceive another child. <gallery>
