Here, they may just find it on that wall." - Menelwen Veara Who are the Bastards? Within the lands of La Noscea, there are wards that many weary adventures call home. One of these wards has the Bastards Honor within its mists, a place where one can go for a hot meal with friends, strong ale, and a warm bed for the evening. Beliefs/Philosophy Likes Spirits Spiced Rum: Bar Special A rum aged with additional flavors from spices and other exotic elements that give the rum a unique and interesting character of its own. Roegadyn Coffee [1] - Whiskey and coffee mixed with sweet spices. Whiskey: Served on the rocks or without. Gin & Tonic [2] - Gin and tonic set with rocks and lime or lemon wedges. A classic. La Noscea Sunrise [3] - Tequila and freshly squeezed orange juice, combined with a sweet, sugary syrup. Garnished with a cherry and an orange slice. Strawberry Burst [4] Cherry Bomb [5] - Vodka mixed with freshly picked cherries and carbonated water. Lucky Bastard [6] - Vodka set with fresh lemon or lime slices and carbonated water. Beer Ale: Bar Special Malted cereal grain, flavored with hops, and brewed by slow fermentation to bring out the richest flavor. Wine La Noscea Red La Noscea White New Years Red Non-Alcoholic Beverages Butter Beer [7] - Carbonated water surrounding sweet, hand made vanilla bean ice cream. Juice - Squeezed fresh from the months harvest. Ask for the seasonal fruit! Ice cold buffalo milk. Shakes Food-wise, the Oak Inn does not keep a proper menu in the sense that a restaurant might, with different things to order given the customer's whim. Instead, the cook makes a general tavern meal per evening, with the meal itself varying by seasons and available ingredients. The main course, so to speak, is almost always a hearty menu item of some kind, with meat pies, stews, soups and roasts being commonplace, as are roasted or baked in-season vegetables. Gale also keeps a wide array of greens to make side salads and seasonal fruits. She also keeps warm rolls by the oven. Deserts and pastries are kept behind the bar, which Liriel tends. The types that she has are influenced by the available seasonal produce.
