Background

Brandon was the second and youngest son born into the upper class family within Ala Mhigo. Following the Garlean occupation, his family abandoned their home and wealth, fleeing to the settlement that would later become Little Ala Mhigo. His father returned to join the rebellion in Gyr Abania, and subsequently lost his life to imperials. His mother would meet her end as a result of the Calamity years later.

Brandon abandoned Little Ala Mhigo, his elder brother, and their cause following the refugees coup to summon a primal. He traveled to Limsa Lominsa and successfully made his way into the ranks of the Marauders Guild. During a simple, routine training exercise, he lost himself to the sudden affliction known as the "Inner Beast." Brandon was sent away among the Roegadyn people in hopes of learning how to properly control it.

Brandon reemerged among civilization a year later having fully mastered the Beast. With his training complete he ventured aimlessly, eventually resting at Revenant's Toll. It was there he learned the art of craft and trade. After the conclusion of the Dragonsong War and the opening of Ishgard's border, he traveled north to the settlement of Idyllshire, where he continued honing his crafting skills.

When news of the Alliance's declaration of war against the Garlean occupied lands of Gyr Abania, Brandon returned to Little Ala Mhigo. He discovered his elder brother had perished when the infamous Griffin lead a suicide campaign into the border between the northern Shroud and the Fringes. As the last surviving Blackstone remaining, Brandon took up arms and joined the rebellion to liberate Ala Mhigo once and for all.

The conclusion of the war leaves Brandon currently residing in the residential district of the Ala Mhigan Quarter. It is there that he works tirelessly alongside its people helping to rebuild and restore their great city to its former glory. He often travels to and from different lands of the Alliance as part of a relief effort to harvest and trade resources that are brought back to Ala Mhigo. He continues to reconnect with the culture of his people he'd been disassociated from for so long.
