'''Five-Prong White AstralCite Soulstone System'''

:'''Caex:''' - despite not knowing it - uses a Five-Pronged Soulstone system. Not in the traditional sense of Soulstones, four soulstones feed aether into his body via the palm of each hand, and the shin of each leg. Each one has a different set of skills associated with it in true soul-stone fashion.

The central gathering and focal point - a Soulstone located in the dead center of the chest - unifies the system within his body. Disrupting this centralized stone would likely be fatal to his life, as it is the centralized network and inhibitor of the other 4 soulstones.

Due to the high-Aether nature of these soulstones, Caex is unable to properly utilize Aether, and instead must pull from a limited pool that comes from within (Similar to using one's life force.) This means, while he's capable of a few tricks that utilize Aether, prolonged use of it and higher-tier skills are impossible - and come with several drawback and repurcussions.

'''White Astralcite Soulstone'''

:'''White Astralcite:''' is the primary composition of the Soulstones. This enables them to hold a large amount of both Aethers and the very soul that makes up a person's being. In this way, a soulstone can be uzed in a more literal way - to house a soul.

Currently, each soulstone holds a fragment of one of his family members. Each of their experiences are infused into these soulstones, and thus are why the Amalgamation of Caex's abilities is possible.

While the fragments of the soul remain within the stones themselves, they are not the complete being - and thus, the being can not take control.

However, in the future, a 'Fomor' may spawn from the lingering sentiment within each stone. This would be the embodiement of the previously-deceased family members giving aetherial form, taken from the leaking of the spirit from the stones.

'''Fomors'''

:'''Fomors''' are creatures that are considered 'Undead.' They are black-skinned, red eyed, and driven solely by lingering sentiments of battle. A Fomor is not a creature that necessarily needs to hold a grudge, but moreso - a creature that lost its life in battle.

While they share the appearance of the ones they take the sentiments from, they are not fully the person, and thus display limited to no intelligence - instead, they act in such a way that seems single-purpose, and often are not controlled.

History

Pre-Eorzea

Coming from O'karthel, Caex'ra was raised by a dominantly Combat-centric culture. Survival of the fittest, their culture focused on having the best fighters and had a high mortality rate. The Vaeriar family didn't suffer heavy losses - having a ritual of sending their family out to learn individual styles from the world at large. From Coerthas to Ala Mihgo, didn't matter where they learned it from - only that they brought the style back home.
O'karthel itself would, however, not remain a bastion forever. It would fall in time to Garlean occupation - with the family being wiped out. Fighting against Garlemald, even with their skills at arms, only showed foolish pride in oneself - they were actually easy to conquer save their resistance.
Caex'ra would spend time as a Nomad after, where he would meet up with Relexano Delmandi, his mentor and combat-partner in a number of missions on Garlean-controlled fortresses. The man helped instill an even stronger sense of combat and a thrill of battle into the young Miqo'te.

Post-Eorzea

R'Zhumii Suhzu: Caex'ra's first love and romanitc partner, he met her outside of Camp Drybone, at a nearby lake. The two had a fondness for combat in one another - often going far further than most would consider 'reasonagble' in their spars with one another, leaving themselves maimed and tattered a number of times in the name of 'fun.' Yet even through that, they grew fond of one another. Eventually, they would break off their relationship after certain events unfolded that left R'zhumii changed.
Morbolvines Clan: This period of his life instilled within him a sort of peaceful devotion to the protection of his kin. Caex'ra grew to wish to be a protector, but Clan politics and the leaders soon wound up driving apart their own family, and the CLAN fell apart. Ultimately, when the CLAN disbanded and Kiht moved the Shroudwolves to their own home, Caex was not invited - whether by accident or by intent.
Personal Home and Sehn: Caex soon found himself wandering. He settled down within a home in time to better accomodate his lover at the time, Sehn Garanjy, who had a child. Choosing to have a place where he could invite his kin to help fuel his desire to protect his kin and family. He eventually met U'xi Kresh, and invited her to join him within his home - as well as her mate. The home grew to be too full, and soon they'd moved into an even larger home in short order.

At the moment, he lives a simple life in such a way - still amusing himself by going out and seeking fights with whoever will offer one up to him. He will often fight just about anyone, save for Lalafell who he seems to lack a certain respect for. Rather, he seems to treat the non-mages of the Lalafell race as more a joke than an actual fight.
