The Rihdan'i

The Rihdan'i meaning “Hunter” in their native tongue, are a tan-skinned, green eyed race of warlike nomads with their own unique culture and language that set them apart from other Miqo’te. The Rihdan’i live in hordes called Bne’ta, each led by a warchief called an Ose (Note: Most Ose will wear a demon-like mask called a Mengu to instill fear in all who behold the frightening visage it creates, this depection is said to be modeled after a powerful being who appeared on the island long ago. *cough*Diabolos*cough*). Bne’ta are broken into groups, called P’yht, which are each led by one of the Ose’s captains, called Ruiht down to the lowest being Caagan. The Rihdan’i are fierce warriors, skilled in battle (magick users are few and far between, most being dismissed as witches. Though few have made a respectable standing as shaman or healers), unrelenting in combat and known for savagery towards non-Rihdan’i. Amongst their own, they have a code of honor, albeit a harsh and unforgiving one- This would be the closest they come to Seekers in terms of culture and relatable to their Nunh and Tia. They are also expert riders and their coeurl are of prime importance in their culture, used for food, transportation, raw materials, warfare, and establishing social standing. They regularly prey on other people, be it of their own lands or neighboring islands.

Fun Fact: the language they speak is Al Bhed.

Appearance

On the taller end for miqo’te males, Cythe has a very rugged and primal look to him. His arms and legs are very well defined, abdomen would be considered toned at best- he’s not one to do sit ups all day. He walks with a confident stride and is always ready to draw his lance should situations call for it. He has Persian green eyes and sandy blone hair that darkens to a lighter brown at the tips. When it comes to armor and clothing he can most often be found in either his Azure Dragoon uniform or his tribal raiding gear.
