D'chai Tia (pronounced /ˈdeh'ʧaɪˈtiə/) (10th Sun 3rd Umbral Moon (June 9)) is a miqo'te of Seeker of the Sun heritage, the diurnal clan of his people, though seems to carry little of that culture with him in the present day. A fond teller of stories, the bard seems more interested in the cultures of others, eager to share and exchange tale for tale - though usually never his own personal history. When not recounting a song or adventure around a campfire or tavern table, D'chai is likely helping a friend or person-in-need with a problem that only a well-aimed arrow can resolve.

Appearance & Personality
- Neither tall nor particularly small (for miqo'te), D'chai is leaving the younger stages of life on a one track course for middle-aged - something his grey hair does little to augment, despite being natural. Alongside neatly trimmed facial hair counter-balancing an always messy hairstyle on his head, he carries a kind and warm face, one which accurately betrays his paternal instincts.
- Typically happy, the Miqo'te is often grinning - holding an often infectious, positive outlook on life, even when the chips are down. In his free time he can often be found being almost student-like, his head nearly always tucked away between the pages of a book. Only when alone, though. This is all assuming, of course, he has any time to spare; with any outstanding duties, archery practice and conversation being placed as a priority.
- D'chai often invokes the Twelve in story, song and prayer; but none more than Oschon, Nophica and Althyk.
Traits
MAJOR
- Marksmanship - D'chai has been using a bow and arrow for the majority of his life and it shows. Steady hands, strong arms and keen vision and depth-perception makes this miqo'te a noticeable threat at ranged.
- Agility - Despite his age, D'chai remains fit and athletic with an ideal physical build for his combat style. Quick and agile describes this miqo'te perfectly.
- Song - As a self-described bard, he is able to use his voice to inspire and empower his allies via encouraging, arching tunes.
MINOR
- Twelveswood - Living in the Twelveswood for long periods of time has proven to be a boon to D'chai, able to draw upon the aether around him to heal small wounds in the form of Conjury as well as having more than adequate survivalist skills.
- Close-quarter Fighting - D'chai is more than aware of the need to switch to melee when the enemy draw too close. He keeps large daggers on his person for this reason; passable with them, but offset by a lack of proper and dedicated training in their use.
- Loyalty - Without a doubt, his loyalty to his companions - be they work colleagues, comrades in arms or drinking buddies - forms a key facet of his principles.
DRAWBACKS
- Offensive Magic - D'chai seems to lack any magical firepower, such as thaumaturgy - as well as any real defense to them. When dealing with powerful spellcasters, he relies on preventative measures than reactionary.
- Melee - He can use daggers and small swords in melee if he must, but he is far from comfortable with them. Forcing him into such a situation puts him on the back-foot immediately.
- Tall-tales - Ever the story teller, D'chai keeps his past to himself and instead chooses to spin a fictional story for anyone who asks about his tribe, scars, life...
