Character

General Info

This woman carries herself with the air of a woman who knows her place in the world and has been convinced, reluctantly perhaps, that she floats somewhere above most of those around her. She observes the world around her with a seemingly permanent smirk, cool and implacable.

Appearance

Delial is slight for a Highlander: her stature is short in comparison and her frame meager and less robust than many of her sisters, a fact which does irk her somewhat. Yet she makes it up with sheer confidence, known to be not at all modest about showing off what the Gods did see fit to give her. Her skin is a dark caramel her hair is dark with violet undertones, especially in the sunlight. One of her eyes is a sharp yellow; the other scarred to a milky white, clearly blinded by some injury which had left its mark across her brow and cheekbone. While she has no tattoos, she seems to mark her face with ritualistic lines regularly enough for it to seem a permanent fixture on her skin.

Her taste in clothing seems to vary between opulent robes and simple, if not somewhat revealing, blouses and camisoles. Her most prized possession may very well be her well-worn thigh boots, proud as she is of her shapely legs.

Personality & Philosophy

If Delial is anything, she is proud. In her mind, she is infallible and she would nary as much as to admit weakness nor defeat to anyone. And even of this she is proud, rarely eager to tone herself nor her inclinations down for the comfort of others. She is brash and opinionated, quick to judge and quicker still to take slights. Morally she seems to occupy a generally questionable mindset in which her own personal satisfaction and well-being is kept paramount. There are few things and fewer people to whom she would feel obliged to pay respect and even then it is reluctant at best. Loyalty is not something she cares overly much for, however she tends to keep good faith with those whom she finds to be sufficiently amusing or interesting enough.

She seems to embody a "kill or be killed" mentality towards life in general, and as such puts very little faith or effort in making nor maintaining social - much less romantic - bonds. There is an unseemly amount of anger in her, and her temper is as fickle as moods.

Combat

In her youth, Delial was fairly capable with small blades or swords. Though capable of magic, she never thought to harness it until well into young adulthood when, at the urging of her mother, she began to study a very primitive form of arcanima which was fueled in part by bodily humors in order to allegedly see induce prophetic visions and heal all manner of ailments with the lifeblood of other creatures. The techniques and demands of such methods are demanding and she has only just recently been able to pick up the art again, albeit in a slightly different form than what she is used to.
