No one knows truly where Drekki comes from, having told a different story to many of her friends and acquaintances. When pressured, she will admit to being from the Kha clan, but she swears on her horns that she was raised by a group of voidsent in the form of Highlanders, but with jagged horns sprouting from their heads. In actuality, they were likely a group of voidsent-worshippers gone mad, but only one "family member" has ever been seen in the group. She appeared in the Hinterlands several years ago, claiming she had come to integrate herself into Ishgardian society and show the knights a thing or two about being a hero. Her initial welcome was less than friendly, as she immediately became the target of an Ishgardian knight referred to by her as "Knife-Ears", who has made it his personal mission to see that she is forbidden from entering the city without at fight. She swore she would travel the lands, making a troupe of demonic mercs that would rise up and perform a deed so heroic she would become an honored citizen of Ishgard, all to spite "That knife-eared bastard."

Not much is known about Drekki in the time before the fall of her people, as she rarely speaks of it. Daughter to a pair of traders from the Kha clan, her group had struck out from the clan, traveling into the Hinterlands to seek new ventures in a foreign land. However, the Ishgardians present in the region did not take kindly to the group of strangers, putting them to the sword to drive them from the land. In the chaos, Drekki was separated from the other survivors, becoming lost in a wilderness unknown to her. Days went by as she wandered, barely surviving as she staggered through the lands. Nearing collapse, see managed to find her way to Tailfeather, where she was set upon by a creature of darkness, what she later learned to be a voidsent. It lashed out at her, striking her eye, the limbal light fading from it to this very day. When all hope was lost, a miqo'te carrying a large sword stood between her and the foe, defending her from the horror that had scarred her. The miqo introduced herself as Ciri, a voidsent hunter living with the hunters of Tailfeather, though their travels had taken them far enough to recognize Drekki for what she was. Offering her sanctuary in a land where she would likely be harassed, Ciri took Drekki under her wing, mentoring her in the ways of fighting. The near-death experience had changed Drekki, her fear of the creatures compounding with her anger and sadness of losing her family and friends, turning into a burning resolve to vanquish those that would do harm to others, be they man or beast.

Fleeing the area around Ishgard, she eventually wandered into the lands of Tailfeather, where she encountered the void hunter Gerald. Given her habit of announcing to everyone that she was a Demon Lord, she ended up fighting Gerald, who recognized her for what she was: a Xaela. Eventually he took her under his wing, training her in survival and combat, preparing her to take over his job when he became too old to perform it. Sadly, Drekki was not made for staying in one place too long, as she promptly left Tailfeather and set forth for Eorzea. Wandering around in amazement at the sights, she was approached by a Roegadyn in Limsa, who invited her to sit and drink with them, finding her appearance peculiar. She accepted their offer, and quickly became enchanted with their heavy accent. She decided at that moment she would be a proper Eorzean, speaking like the "Pirate-folk" she had met from that point forward. Few ever hear her true accent, as it only displays itself with concentrated effort from her or when she becomes parted from her horns for too long.
+
After years of training with Ciri, the moment came when Au Ra could travel the lands unfettered. Ciri bade her journey to Eorzea and learn what she could of the culture and people, as following her on her travels would make for a sheltered life. Having nothing but some coin given to her by her mentor and an old spear he had given her to train with, she set out from Tailfeather to begin her adventure. She warily crossed through Ishgardian territory, never fully trusting them after their persecution of her people and violence against her clan. She made it to the Shroud, where she set to board an airship to take her to Limsa, where she could see the vast waters of the realm. Upon purchasing her ticket for the airship, her name was inquired, causing her pause. No longer truly part of her clan, she choose the name Undyne, a spirit known for going with the flow of things. After arriving in Limsa, she was accosted by a group of Roegadyn sailors, who persuaded her to share a drink with them. She immediately fell in love with their accent, and set to work practicing it during her time in Limsa.

Drekki enlisted herself in the Dawn Riders, a group of mercenaries running a tavern by day, fighting injustice by night. She picked up bartending in the blink of an eye, already being a heavy alcoholic. A poster hung on the wall for many moons displaying drawings of victims of her "Armor Polish", a concoction she created that was 90% alcohol by volume. Within months, she had converted half of the company's members into members of her Demon Army for Justice, as she took on the role of Demon Lord of the Demon Army. She could often be found at the Quicksand shouting at anyone that would listen about her demonic powers and trying to recruit new members into the fold. While possessing no /actual/ demon powers, her constant struggle to topple larger and more demonic foes gave way to her developing bloodlust, often dropping her weapon mid-combat to savagely claw and bite her opponent. That's when help had to be called in. After months of training with her former mentor, she was finally able to harness her rage into a controlled state, and the Dawn Riders gained a new member in Gerald. This did not, however, deter her from seeking out voidsent, as she now believed herself to be some sort of succubus. She made friends with one, making frequent visits to the lands around Haukke Manor and becoming more and more corrupt each time. It was only through a combined effort of Mathilda, L'iru Wulf, Gerald, and the rest of the Dawn Riders that she was finally brought to her senses, though her left eye has never been the same. Many more adventures of small note occurred since then, with the demon army rising and falling several times, Gerald being cursed to a female form, and a quest to rid the world of draconic cultists spurring her onward. When the Dawn Riders passed on to new leadership, Drekki struck out to find a new path.
+
To make ends meet, she joined on with the Dawn Riders, a group of mercenaries operating out of a tavern in The Mists. She had humble beginnings, starting off learning the bartending trade. Living in the wilderness with Ciri had given her an appreciation for booze, though her definition of the term was quite loose. Access to booze being slim in the wilderness, she had been taught to brew rot-gut alcohol referred to fondly as "Armor Polish" by Ciri using makeshift stills and less-than-reputable resources. Eventually, she became a regular member of the Dawn Riders, helping them with tasks such as hostage rescue and bandit hunting. Having acquired enough coin to earn some luxury, she ventured to The Gold Saucer, where she enjoyed the various games of chance with great delight. Upon perusing their prize wall, her heart sunk as she saw the pair of fake devil horns, her past voidsent encounter flashing to the front of her memory and causing her to quiver. Determination flared as she exchanged her hard-earned points for the horns, reasoning that if she looked like what she feared, she'd be able to stand against them should their paths cross again. That opportunity presented itself when Ciri tracked her down to her company, asking her to assist with a target that had brought her to Eorzea. Before leaving for combat, she placed the horns on her head along with her battlegear, and set out with L'iru Wulf, Mathilda Luciana, and Ciri defeat the foe.

After months of wandering the world doing odd-jobs, she found herself in a depression, becoming a homeless drunk on the streets of Ul'dah. She swears that at her lowest point she heard Hydalen speak to her, telling her to vanquish the evils of the land and live in the bigger picture. Taking up her spear, she set out to follow in the footsteps of her mentor, taking up the fight against monsters and voidsent. Naturally, this lead to her running into her mentor, as they had both taken a job for the same target. Gerald (now known as Ciri) bequeathed her sword to Drekki, telling her that she'd need something better than a spear to get the job done.

While looking for a home, she reunited with L'iru Wulf, now working with Von'ni as resistance fighters for Ala Mhigo. She volunteered her services before setting off to find a home. While looking at plots in the Lavender Beds, she was accosted by a raven-haired girl in glasses named Thalia Jessitair, who offered her a key to a room if she "did whatever the pink-haired cat woman said". Knowing that life is nothing if not an adventure, she accepted the offer, stalking around the grounds of the "inn" she resided at, learning of what they actually did. She was accepted as a full fledged member of the shadow organization The Raven's Nest, where she seeks to prove herself in glorious combat.

While working for the Raven's Nest, she started a new group called Drekki's Inquisitors, a group dedicated to hunting what she deemed heresy in her eyes. This group was formed in a fit of rage after cultists stole her coveted demon horns, believing them to be relics of a forgotten lord of the void. No one really believed her cause, however, and the group devolved into a network of mercenaries relying on each other to complete jobs.

Improvised Fighter - Skilled with all kinds of weaponry, from swords to lances to fists. However, she rarely uses the weapon as they were intended, as she was kicked out of almost every job she was given where combat training was provided. Usually gives up halfway through a fight on using her weapons and starts kicking and punching, leveraging her small size for speed.

Her First Rescue

Upon joining the Dawn Riders, she was sent with a small group to rescue a merchant's son, kidnapped by a small group of marauders. It was here her bloodlust first formed, as well as her hatred of what she refers to as "potato people" formed, as a Lalafell stuck an arrow in her shoulder, only to be cleaved in half by Drekki later. She also gained a reputation for biting people, as with her last moment of consciousness she bit the throat out of a Highlander grappling with her.

Finding Wulf

Under orders from Kei, a job broker well known by the Dawn Riders, she set out with Mathilda Luciana to rescue long-time friend L'iru Wulf. It was here she fully succumbed to bloodlust, killing many opponents that had surrendered, going as far as to throw one midlander girl off of a cliff. Upon seeing Wulf shattered and beaten, she set out to kill the rest of the bandits, almost being removed from the Dawn Riders for being too focused on vengeance before finally coming to her senses.

The Demon Army

As her belief in her "Demonic Powers" (AKA her high pain tolerance and abnormal strength) grew, she split the Dawn Riders in half, taking half of the members under her wing in the Demon Army. They would set out to steal the glory from heroes by completing jobs before they had a chance to sweep in and save the day. This, once again, almost saw her removed from the Dawn Riders, as it was seen as a mutiny.

The Sword of the Ghost Slayer

After winning a wooden Blood Sword from the Gold Saucer, she convinced Kei and several members of the Dawn Riders that it was actually a ghost-slaying sword. She was immediately hired to travel to the Lost Isles to investigate ghost activity. After a harrowing journey fighting against "ghosts", it was determined to be a group of adventurers playing a prank on the locals. However, the Blood Sword remained her favorite weapon to this day, and as the left the island, she heard the whispers of something sinister, yet to be investigated.

The Succubus

While recruiting for the Demon Army, she quickly made friends with the succubus Aisu, who promised her seductive powers in exchange for a place in the Demon Army. Her eyes turned purple with corruption, as her friends started a manhunt to find her and convince her to not fall farther into the void. She was found trying to sneak back into Ishgard, and a fight between her and Knife-Ears ensued. She was eventually convinced to undergo treatment after witnessing her succubus friend be dismembered by a group of voidsent hunters, losing her limbal ring in one eye. While retaining her sight, that eye sometimes grows hazy in the presence of void creatures, causing her other eye to glow to compensate.
