He grew stronger and chased them away until he was left alone. The other kids ran away from him when he came to play. His mother passed away when he was eight years old. Around that time, Flynn lost his memory of everything that happened. He spent the next few days alone in the rough parts of the city located in the Steps of Thal. To survive he would often steal money from the rich folk. He would also do chores for the stall owners to earn food and sleep on the streets. One day he was almost caught stealing and bumped into two other kids, Lorric and M'risha, who he later became close friends with. A retired lalafell Gladiator called Pepepoki adopted Flynn and trained him to use a sword and shield.
