G'migo Pheko is an Ala Mhigan at heart, born in the mountains of Gyr Abania within the offshoot of the Griffon tribe which made it's home in those inhospitable lands. From an early age, she learned from her tribes shamans the art of healing magic and reading, and it was from this young age she found her love of reading and desire to heal others. Once the revolution began, the young and elderly of the tribe were sent south to avoid the main fighting while the adults went to fight for Ala Mhigo, G'migo's mother and father included.

Appearance & Personality

Standing at an average height and with a full body, G'migo looks well kept in all regards. From her hair nearly combed and washed to her well maintained attire, in towns she is always found spotless if possible. Her voice is silvery, if slightly matter-of-factly, a tone which has only recently come to her. Always found in her blue robes and grey cloak, the only indication left of her tribe is that of the purple feather which remains in her hair from when she has been learning from the tribe's shamans back in the mountains of Gyr Abania.

Having lived much of her life away from Gyr Abania, yet always remembering her happiest days while there, she has become fiercely patriotic for Ala Mhigo... Even if many of the ideas and memories she has are warped memories or fabricated from stories passed down to her. Having joined the resistance as early as she could and helping aid those she could flee from tunnels dug under Baelsar's Wall, it has left an impact on her personality which has made her cautious around new people of whom she has not been introduced by others.

Biography

G'migo was born to the Griffon tribe, and raised by her mother and the shamans of the tribe in her early years. Her mother was a huntress, and would take G'migo to the markets of Ala Mhigo where she sold the hides of the kills she had made for the day. It was here she met her childhood friend, Theodemar Stoutheart, for her mother sold meats at one of the stalls owned by his parents. Each day, she would come to the city and play with this boy who lived an entirely different life than her, before returning to the tribe and continuing to learn their shamanistic arts. In these years, the two became child crushes, G'migo often bringing small presents from outside the city walls for Theodemar as a way of showing her affection. It was these years she remembers most fondly, and helped kindle her love for Ala Mhigo, always thinking herself of an Ala Mhigan first rather than a member of the Griffon tribe.

When the revolution began, she was only eight years old and so woefully unfit to fight with her father and mother in the streets of Ala Mhigo. Instead, she and the other children, elderly, and sick were sent south to try and hide from the fighting. For, should the revolution fail, surely they would be hunted by the Mad King for association with rebels, alongside any others who had been remotely related to those who stood against him. They had been at the borders of Gridania when news reached them of the revolution's victory, as well as the Garlean invasion which had begun soon after. It was the decision of the elders of the tribe to continue migrating south, into Gridania and away from their beloved, hoping instead that they would find their way south to rejoin the tribe.

Over the years, her training as a shaman continued, yet she grew resentful of remaining in Thanalaan for it only reminded her of the home she couldn't fight to protect. Eventually, a Roegadyn much older than herself passed through where her tribe had set up it's camp in search of others wishing to free Ala Mhigans still trapped behind the wall. G'migo jumped at this chance, dragging her sister G'xavi along with her as they went north with this Roegadyn named Vaunted Mountain, soon making their way into the Black Shroud and making temporary camps near in the twelveswood, only a stone's throw from Baelsar's wall.

For nearly a year she acted as a medic for those who went beyond the wall to aid the resistance back in Gyr Abania, stealing away refugees to help lead to freedom through the tunnels. She mostly aided the refugees themselves, who had gotten injuries on their way to the resistance rather than in any real fights, Vaunted Mountain fearing what repercussions could come to the people still trapped in Gyr Abanaia should they assault a patrol. This lead to long times where they would have to constantly move camp, or head to Gridania itself in order to avoid the greenwrath and try to appease the elementals so they could continue their stay.

Yet, in these long periods where many of their group simply trained or relaxed, G'migo grew anxious instead. She felt her abilities were reaching their peak, and feared that she would eventually be unable to help those close to her should they become too injured. It was around this time G'xavi decided to get others together for what she called 'field training' and brought G'migo along incase any were injured during this little excursion of her. The place she had decided to begin their 'field training' had been the Lost City of Amdapor, for she had heard in the Carline Canopy of it's magics wearing off. As far as Vaunted and the rest knew, they had gone in and fought before coming out almost unscathed thanks to G'migo, yet very little to show for it save for G'migo's slightly heavier pack.
