History

Imiane was born the eldest child of three, to a family from a long line of Duskwight stonemasons from a cavern in the Southern Shroud. At some point during her childhood she came into possession of a single Eorzean encyclopedia entry from an unknown source. Upon reading the book from cover to cover numerous times, a spark of wanderlust exploded inside her and shortly before her 18th Nameday and the Calamity, she departed from her Home-Cavern. Her intention to explore Eorzea as thoroughly - from border to border - as she had read from cover to cover.

Over the course of her travels, Imiane picked up a limited proficiency with Arcanima. Able to hastily patch up a wound and should the need arise, inflict Miasma onto a belligerent. Recently inspired by tales from Ishgard and her own lack of martial proficiency, Imiane dedicated a portion of her time to training with the Lance.

Personality

Imiane is a slightly shy, reserved person. While she may not be one to initiate a conversation or offer to share a drink, she's never one to turn away company while she scribbles notes into one of her notebooks. For those who become close to Imiane, she's a caring friend who's more than willing to extend help or lend scholarly advice.

Appearance

Imiane is taller than most Hyur, but still shorter than most Elezen measuring in at Six fulms and zero ilms. Her thin figure is almost always dressed in a wanderer's attire, generally consisting of heavy robes or large coats. Her hair is a dark shade which appears blue to most, kept short with her fringe clipped tidily out of the way and her grey eyes are framed by a pair of thick oval eyeglasses. Imiane is almost always seen with a leather satchel slung over her shoulder, carrying a manner of items essential for travelers - though mostly just notebooks, parchments and inks.
