Basic Info

There's something a little shady about Jad - he's definitely got that not-quite-law-abiding-rascal appearance down pretty well. His clothes are somewhat shabby and would probably fit him much better if was taller and weighed more. He stands about 5' 6" tall, but he tends to keep his head down and hunch his shoulders a bit, which makes him seem smaller than he really is. His scrawny frame doesn't really help with that issue... this kid looks like he hasn't had a solid meal in a while.

He has messy golden-blond hair that could probably use a trim; the plush fur on his tail and ears is the same color but considerably neater. The color of his eyes is close to that of polished jade.

One could describe him as "restless." He fidgets a lot and can't seem to sit or stand still for long periods of time, and he appears to have a habit of glancing around him as if he's expecting someone to leap out from thin air and confront him. His ears are quite animated - the slightest noise or physical provocation makes them twitch!

There is a battered, beat-up longsword tied at his belt that serves as his weapon of choice, despite its poor condition. It looks like it's much older than its wielder, probably by at least several decades.

A tiny black kitten can usually be found in his company. If she is not perched on his shoulders, she is most likely scurrying around at his side.

History

Orphaned Miqo'te of the J tribe who was raised by residents of Little Ala Mhigo. After the events of the Calamity, Jad wound up with a group of refugees headed to Ul'dah. He didn't really have any means of supporting himself, other than resorting to petty thievery, begging, and running errands for loose change.

Personality

Curious, energetic, and a bit of a scaredy-cat. He's got big dreams, high hopes, and no idea how he'll ever achieve any of them.

Other Notes

You might know Jadoth if...

...you lived in Little Ala Mhigo 10-ish years before the Calamity - you might've noticed a Miqo'te boy running about, helping with odd jobs and tagging along with the Highlander kids.

...you hung around the poorer areas of Ul'dah after the Calamity

...you are affiliated with the Brass Blades - he's technically wanted for stealing, but the bounty on his head is miniscule.
