( ) - The Baneful Broodmother Character's Thoughts: "A vain woman, whose absence is no great loss to anyone." Jehanne and her mother were not on good terms. When Orrene was with child again, their family rejoiced; when the child emerged with features absent both Auphert and Orrene, however, a closer investigation revealed Jehanne to be the product of one of Orrene's many affairs. Being caught in her lie, Orrene grew to resent Jehanne for causing strain in her familial life, and though she was rarely witnessed being overtly cruel to her illegitimate child, she preferred to foist her upon other people rather than deal with the living consequence of her infidelity. Jehanne, after coming of an age enough understand why she was unloved, grew to resent Orrene bitterly, up until and well past her untimely death." Auphert Delumiere, 'Adoptive' Father . ( ) - Head of House Delumiere Character's Thoughts: "He might have been a good man, once." Auphert Delumiere was a man with whom Jehanne's relationship was strained, but not foul. Despite his fury at having Orrene betray him, he strove to be kind and fatherly to Jehanne, perhaps moreso than anyone else in the family. While he ultimately could never be the father to her that he was to his own children, it was Auphert's own wishes that kept Jehanne from being abandoned in the wilderness. NON-FAMILY Kharma Kha, Bondmate. ( ♥ - ♥ ) - Title Character's Thoughts: "A spitfire without equal, and a heart without fear." Kharma and Jehanne met on the eastern shores of Eorzea, after Jehanne rescued her from a shipwrecked shore. Their relationship was exceptionally antagonistic one to begin with, and they came to blows several times along their journey across Eorzea. But when the time came for their parting, they reflected upon one another and found that their separation would cause them much pain. Watching her closest friend slip through her fingers as she returned home with the tribe they'd sought all along was high among the most heartbreaking things Jehanne has ever done- the only solace she could draw from it being that Kharma had made her choice, no matter that she had not chosen Jehanne. Zaya Borlaaq, Comrade & Confidante. ( ♥ - � - ♦ ) - Title Character's Thoughts: "A woman worth trusting in a world full of vipers." Jehanne and Zaya's relationship is one that defies explanation. A strong friendship having formed almost overnight, in one of the least likely places imaginable- of all the people she now coexists with, Zaya is one of the few so far with whom Jehanne was willing to take a leap of faith, one that has thus far been rewarded with good companionship and trust far beyond what she had anticipated. Despite her self-proclaimed flaws, she has- deliberately or not- wormed her way into Jehanne's heart to become someone she is greatly concerned with, no matter the risks involved. Artwork Screenshots ಌ OOC NOTES ಌ OOC INFORMATION Player Note I'm a fairly experienced roleplayer. I've been at it for a few years and I've had my fair share of stumbles. Most of my RPing experience has been on the ground with one-on-ones and small groups, but I'm open to most ideas so long as they're within the realm of reason for me and for my character. Personal RP Limits I reserve the right to dictate what I will and will not participate in. For the most part I'm down for just about anything, but I draw the line at situations deliberately engineered OOC to break character; I came to tell a story, not start a fight, and I won't be bullied into doing something I do not want to. That said, as long as we're both having fun, I can be cool with just about anything! ■ I will play Friendship/Rivalry, Family, Romance, Pointless Fluff, scenes of an explicit nature (fade to black is the norm, but provided an adequate justification more can be written) violence, character-vs-character conflict (though I prefer to avoid physical violence between PCs without prior agreement), morally questionable conflicts, among other things. ■ I won't play purposeless erotic scenes, excessive gore, character death or permanent injury (unless otherwise stated).
