Appearance

Standing at a modest five feet nothing, Jess’a’s frame is scrawny at best. His wiry form is wound in lean muscle made for speed, and very little strength; he carries little extra weight, baring the very real possibility of one too many missed meals. His sharp eyes remain his most striking features; mismatching shades of peridot blue and deep, introspective green set into a heavy brow, partially covered by tousled, sandy-blonde hair.

Both his ears are tipped with black fur, and each has been pierced twice, with both a simple stud and a hanging teardrop amethyst; something very much out of place on what appears to be an average street rat. He’s missing a small patch from his left ear, something he tries to compensate for by ruffling his hair, though it does little good.

His tail is long, sweeping, and luxuriant. It isn’t lacking in fur, and is often coiled around the Miqo’te’s own leg.

Jess’a’s flesh bares the signs of one who barely sees the sun (telling of his Keeper roots); so pale that the faint webbing of veins beneath is visible (almost as if it’s translucent) it serves only to wash him out, to leave him looking sickly and gaunt - even when he mightn’t be.

His full lips are tinted ever so slightly with a slight peach hue. Two painted green stars sit upon the crest of his left cheek, matching the corresponding eye as if to detract form just how pale he is. A small scar sits below these painted-on stars, deep and grizzly, as if it was never quite given the attention that it might have needed.

The little rogue’s attire is haphazard and likely pilfered; stolen leathers with thigh-high red boots, a mostly-open vest wound around his narrow chest with scuffed belts and straps. A pair of gleaming daggers often sit at his hips, low and sharp - resonating with the visible sign of toxicity, as if they’re constantly tipped with some poison or another.

About his neck sits a simple amethyst pendant on a silver chain that’s usually tucked into his vest; the chain is long enough that it very nearly reaches his navel, it might occasionally slip free, or Jess’a might just toy with it when caught on-edge, or lost in thought. His right hand is graced with a silver ring inlaid with a matching amethyst, and about both wrists sit a pair of iron cuffs that almost look as if they once may have had a matching chain linking them together.

This Miqo’re’s features are nonetheless soft, gentle - still boyish in appearance as if to betray his age; his smiles are sly, coy, coquettish and distrustful. He’s watchful, and careful. He moves with feline grace, effortless agility, smooth, unburdened agility; as if his every move is part of some carefully choreographed dance.

The smell of burnt coffee, sea-salt and an acrid, acidic edge of something entirely incomprehensible follow his fluid steps about like a pervasive and undeniable perfume.

Combat Skills and Style

Jessa's combat style is direct, and fluid. He's remarkably fast on his feet, impossibly agile, and even more difficult to pin down or trap. He relies on stealth, and sneak attacks in order to get the upper hand in combat, even if it makes him a coward. He's very skilled with a knife, and he knows which parts of the body are most vulnerable. He's expert at finding nicks and grooves in heavier armour where he might have to, and he often shows little hesitation in taking down a target. Though, Jess'a will rarely (if ever) kill. He seeks - mostly - simply to incapacitate for long enough to ensure a safe retreat for him. He's experimented with poisons in the past, though his lack of patience has left them unfinished and mostly useless - some of them can sting, if used correctly.
