Kanko is a bold and optimistic new adventurer. Locked in his homeland of the Sagolii Desert for most of his life, he’s unlearned in most of the world cultures. Though he has currently taken the opportunity to leave the dunes and make his own life. No longer tied to his tribe, he travels and learns weapons skills, careers and cultures as well as how to interact with the many different creatures who also inhabit the world. A bit naive, he’s learning quickly with the help of friends and allies though can’t seem to avoid criminalistics natures.

General

Given Name: K’anko Tia'[Khan-ko]

Aliases/Nicknames: Kanko Heatfist: The name given to him during the time he fought in the arena and pits. Though he has grown to hate the name due to constant teasing and jokes, it rings true as his anger rises he ends up generating fire at his fingertips. It’s mainly uncontrolled and used as a crowd pleaser as the flames don’t add a terrible punch.

Appearance

Height: 5 fulms, 10 ilms - for an Miqo'te is rather tall for his kind. Often easily identified by his raven hair and ears, he isn’t hard to find in a crowd of his own kind.

Weight: 185 ponz - Rather toned and built, he is no slouch in training. Though his diet isn’t the best, he isn’t the ideal perfect body. He tends to eat too much for someone to show off a full six pack and runs enough to burn it off. But with his current training, this is likely to change and his body to become far more toned as his muscle is built further.

Body: Kanko is built slightly bulky for a Miqo’te. Mostly due to his fighter training at birth, he had attained quite a body by the time he grew into a young adult. He carries a tattoo of a moon around a sun on his right shoulder. He also has many scars on his back that seem to be old bite marks for sharp teeth. He has done little to hide the wounds, and doesn’t seem to mind walking around without a shirt as if to show them off with pride.

Complexion: Kanko carried an odd skin tone for a Seeker, pale. Though he has obvious parts of him tanned, it’s almost as if the sun doesn’t burn him as it should. Thus ending up with a light skin tone for most the people around him to see.

Face: Kanko’s face is never without a smirk, smile or grin. A layer of tattoos line the sides of his face, worn since he was young. His golden eyes change their hue to his mood and emotions. Sometimes shining like the very sun or turning dull like a deep amber. His eyes carry the traditional Seeker pupil, a small cats eye slit. But even more so he seems to have a row of tiny fangs where a Keeper would have theirs. His are far too tiny to show any true descendant of a Keeper blood, but perhaps something in his history could explain his odd features.

Hair: Raven untamed hair lines his head and ears. Often long enough to slightly cover his eyes, letting a eerie glow out from under them as he talks. He has never shown much desire to keep it other than washing his scalp every time he has the chance. Often, he shoves his hair back when wet. Revealing his forehead and eyes to all while doing this.

Fashion: Far more commonly seen in light cloth outfits with his signature metal boots, he is rarely seen in other outfits. He has sometimes been seen in a set of leather armor but has never dawned anything heavier. His attire is usually very loose fit and very open as if to let his body breath from desert heats.

Behavior

Voice: Appealing and charming, easily referred to as a smooth baritone. He carried a slight accent from his tribe but has worked through most of it in his five years.

Demeanor: Kanko more often than not, comes off as a high energy and optimistic man with too much curiosity for his own good. Never one to not have a question, he can bombard people who are willing to answer or dare to play one of his drinking games. To people who have proven themselves, Kanko is often more inclined to touch and explore boundaries with them. But for the ones who haven’t, he’s quickly on the defensive wither be it crossing his arms or taking a combat stance as fast as possible. No matter what, he has an issue standing still for long periods of time.

Quirks: Quickly sparked at comments about tribal Miqo’te or anything related to his family, he is extremely defensive about the people he knows and his own name. Playing on his challenging nature and cocky attitude, he often doesn’t approve of excessive boasting or putting others down in his presence. Even if they choose to put themselves down.

Intelligence: Kanko isn’t typically bright, but he finds himself reading hundreds of books in his free time. Not often does he have a chance to put what he reads to work simply lacking the experience in too many situations. Though he ends up being extremely resourceful when opportunity allows him, eventually being able to adapt his knowledge into more situations until he manages to become experienced.

Combat

General

Style: Kanko holds more to a mixed combat, though he is stronger on the defensive. His hand to hand is by far his preference and ends up using his feet far more than his hands when able too. Though he doesn’t channel as much of his strength in his fist, he’s still able to pull off bold and strong grapples. He’s very resourceful when in a fight, able to recognize things in his surroundings to use in a tough spot.

Specialization: Hand to hand is by far where his talent is. Able to switch his styles quickly and counter most close range moves. He can easily take knives on without too much of an issue and can overpower or just move an enemy’s momentum through him and force them around in a fight. Equip with light metal boots, he uses his feet for more crucial blows. Mostly going for axe kick into the head or neck reigns to quickly end a fight.

Strengths: Kanko can quickly build momentum if allowed and steamroll through an enemy with a flurry of blows. The more momentum he can build, the hotter his hits get. Fire tends to grow at his fingertips allowing him to get into the ‘feel’ of a fight. Though he will usually lock into a single style, or lose his momentum by getting sloppy in a rush, he can be quite a challenge to catch while moving with his agility and resourcefulness.

Weaknesses: Kanko has a fear of fighting weapons larger than daggers. Often forcing him on the defensive right away and making him hesitate openings. Larger weapons can intimidate him into running where he will only fight as a last resort. Even in fighting, he tends to get a battlelust that ends him fighting without thinking, easily falling into planned traps or takedowns which can burst his momentum instantly.

Armour: Kanko wears almost nothing for armor, favoring his agility to protect him. While in a fight, he relies on adrenaline to keep himself going but it falls just as easily as losing his momentum. The heavies he wears currently is light leather, though already complains how it feels it restricts his movements.
