K'luha Haaz (Koo-Loo-Aa Ha-Zz) is a Seeker of the Sun Miqo'te, born on the 16th Sun of the Astral Moon (July 16th) in the year 1544 of the Sixth Astral Era deep in the Sagolii Desert. She is the mother of K'ailia Yohko, with whom she continues to have a strained relationship with after K'ailia's exile from the Hipparion Tribe. She currently resides with the Hipparion Tribe in Eastern Thanalan, no more than a day's walk from Camp Drybone at any time. K'luha has a small limp due to damage to her right hip, and has difficulty standing or running for long periods of time. She is a former Huntress for her tribe, and continues to support her family as a tailor, leatherworker, and a trader. Her chocobo's name is K'yori and he often stays with the tribe even when she travels. K'luha can easily be found in Eastern Thanalan, Camp Drybone, or of late the Lavender Beds She is currently four months pregnant as of the 1st Sun of First Astral Moon. She is expected to give birth on 22nd Sun of the Third Umbral Moon.

Body Type: Thicker than most Miq'ote women with very pronounced curves, wide hips, and a large bust. While she was previously a bit heavier in times of plenty, the recent time of hardship has seen her thin out rather visibily. She still retains her curvaceous figure however.

Dedicated: If there was a single word to describe K'luha, it would be dedicated. When she sets her mind to an ideal or a task, she tries to fulfill it with every breath and movement. She is dedicated to a fault, ignoring her own health, desires, and mental state in order to fulfill her duty. The thing she is most dedicated to is her people of the tribe. She makes grueling trips, frequently exhausts all her aether and then some, handles the slimy merchants of Ul'dah all for their sake, and attempts to never utter a single complaint about it. Her dedication almost lead her to forsaken even her own daughter, although she is not completely unreasonable in her dedication to the tribe and thus was able to see reason.

Compassionate: K'luha is indeed a mother, and thus she strives to have empathy and compassion. Although this trait is rather strained when it comes to having compassion for outsiders, it shines very clearly within her own tribe. She feels deeply her family's injuries, and seeks to heal them wherever she can. Her compassion for her people goes hand in hand with her intense dedication.

Hot-Headed: K'luha is infamous for being quick to anger, and can often get in trouble for it. Perhaps her most regrettable incident was a fight with her sister that ended with her sister's exile from the tribe. A single negative word about her daughter is the quickest way to spark K'luha's anger, as K'ailia means the world to her. Threats again her people also are a quick way to ignite a furious Miq'ote. With K'luha's anger is also a quickness to violence, although this mostly applies only to outsiders.

Biography

1544-1560

Childhood (1544-1556)

Born in 1544 on 16th Astral Moon deep within the Sagolii, K'luha was one of four children born to K'thajon Jhani. She is the eldest daughter, and second born. K'yhaega Tia is her eldest brother by two years, and K'thrup Tia is her younger brother by a single year. Her younger sister is K'makanee, younger by two years. Born into the Hipparion Tribe, K'luha lived with her family in isolation from the rest of the world. She was always a grumpy, but excitable child. K'luha spent much of her time getting in trouble with her brothers and sister. They often slipped away from the watchful eye of the Nunh and their family to explore the desert. She was eager to learn to hunt with a bow and lance, but her mother always insisted she learn the art of the weaving and leatherworking. It was with much disdain at first that she learned to work fabric and bent it to her will and need. K'thajon, her mother, often left the tribe to take their excess wears to trade at outposts and sometimes, all the way to Ul'dah. K'luha was always fascinated by her mother's trips to the outside world and the amazing things she brought back. When K'luha turned twelve, her mother finally brought her along on a journey to Ul'dah and taught her about the cities. The vastness of people and the strange alien races fascinated the young girl, and it made her wonder what else could be out in the wild world.

Teenage

After her first excursion to Ul'dah, K'luha began to accompany her mother out more and more often. She became more rebellious as well. When she was fourteen, she accompanied her mother to Ul'dah and then stole away from her, hiding on a carriage bound for Gridania. She found herself in a wondrous forest world. K'luha was surprisingly resourceful, and managed to sneak her way back to Ul'dah and then back to the tribe some weeks later. Her mother was furious, but relieved she was still alive. This would only be the first time that K'luha began to steal away into the cities, exploring Eorzea with some small pieces at a time. The second time she stole away to Limsa Lominsa to see the sea and floating city of Nym. She was punished harshly on her return. K'luha found herself torn, wanting to explore the world and yet wanting to remain with her family. She argued with her mother and siblings and the elders, and when they would not see her way, she packed her things and stole away on a chocobo. She did not make it far before a certain K'yohko Tia stopped her. He walked with her to the nearest outpost, never trying to convince her to come back but once.

RELATIONS ♥ Romantic Interest    ♥ Platonic Love     ● Good Standing     ● Poor Standing K'ailia Yohko : K'luha's second daughter to K'yohko Nuhn. She was born very small and weak, and K'luha constantly worried over her daughter and tried to protect her. As she has grown, she'd proven more and more worrisome. A series of events lead K'ailia to be exiled from the tribe, a source of endless heartache for K'luha. Her standing with her daughter is one of many emotions. She will always love and care for her daughter, but she is weary about seeing her and disobeying her tribe's law. ● K'tahja Yohko : K'manakee's only daughter. After a fight with K'luha broke out over K'ailia's behavior at a young age, K'manakee was banished from the tribe. It was unknown she was with child at the time. K'manakee raised Tahj in the Shroud, and when the Calamity killed it was K'ailia who found out about Tahj's exsistance in an orphange. K'luha and K'ile picked up their young niece and brought her into the tribe. K'luha loves her niece dearly, but finds her of guild and pain as well. She is guilty that she deprived her sister and Tahj of the life they should have had with family, and also shame that her sister had seemingly raised Tahj so much better than she had raised K'ailia. K'yohko Nunh : K'luha chosen nuhnwith whom she has mothered two children. The first died without a name two moths after it was born, and the second is K'ailia. While she respects K'yohko as the tribe's nuhn, she has never felt particularly strongly about his place. Their relationship is rocky at best. She is most agitated by his stoic and unemotional nature, or perhaps it is by his inability to comprehend and show emotion readily. ♥ K'ile Tia : Somewhere along the way, K'luha somehow feel for the Tia she frequently butted heads with. She finds him charming and infuriating at the same time. After declaring he loved her, K'luha readily gave her support to him in a bid to take K'yohko's place as Nunh. Although K'luha is unsure about his ability to win, she decided she would mate with him even if he lost. ♥ Ventus Zeruel : K'ailia's old Headmaster from her time at the Ul'dah Garden. Although K'luha has threatened to kill him in increasingly violent ways, their more recent meetings have been far more kind. She finds him intriguing in a way those in her family could never be. She has long since stopped holding him responsible for leading her daughter astray.
